Vegan options uninspired - Edit
Vegan options seem like afterthoughts, and are pricey for what you get. I had the vegetarian platter, made vegan. The falafel and polenta fries were bland and dry, and the sauces did not seem to compliment them. The mushrooms were quite nice at least.

Stopped by for dinner before heading over Arthur’s Pass. Had the nachos with vegan option, just means chips with a ton of beans. It’s… edible, but not worth the money.
Read moreAlso tried the vegetarian platter made vegan. You could probably walk around the corner to the grocery store for better options.
Basically stop here if you’re looking to drink while eating, or you want to play pool. Otherwise keep driving.

Don’t bother for lunch - Edit
Maybe the dinner menu has more options, but the lunch menu has nothing except maybe a bowl of chips (hold the aioli) and plain beans with corn chips. Staff didn’t acknowledge us. Atmosphere wasn’t nice either. Maybe try your luck at dinner otherwise don’t waste your time

Well labelled options, pretty tasty. The vegan options were mostly vegetarian things without cheese, but still tasted good & was pleased and the number of clear choices.
