Found this gem through Happy Cow, and it did not disappoint. The Soul food Sampler was more than enough for two and provided lots of tastes. The stir fry was seasoned well. Would have liked to taste the whole menu!

The food that soothes the soul… - Edit
Vegan soul food at its best. I had the “Organic Soul Food Sampler Plate” with yams, mac n’ cheese, BBQ tofu, kale greens, black-eyed peas, potato salad, coleslaw and a cornbread muffin. That’s right, all the fixin’s and everything was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the black-eyed peas which were seasoned perfectly. I would highly recommend checking it out if you’re soul is calling for it.

Vegan in DT Inglewood - Edit
Vegan spot in DT Inglewood serving delicious soul food, burritos, salads and bowls etc using fresh ingredients. Super cute little place, carry out only but the coffee shop Sip n Sonder down the street will let you use their outside tables to eat if you buy a coffee from them! One of my local neighborhood faves, always on point!

Came here back when Dumptruck was president evil. Left the country. Didn't miss California one bit, but I sure missed STUFF I EAT. Can't say how happy I am this restaurant survived. Truly a miracle.
Read moreI ordered the Soul Food Sampler which came with corn bead muffins, mac n chez, bbq jackfruit, beetroot and potato salad, mashed sweet potatoes, black eyed peas and collard greens. Wow!
Plus a Beetroot Lemonade to sweeten my day.
I get homesick for my childhood friends who's parents adopted and fed me soul food growing up, so this place is like THANKSGIVING DINNER comfort food to me. Truly a blessing LA vegans have this variety around. My favorite in LA.
Zero PBC on the menu, zero impossible/beyond fake vegan factory trash, this is superior savory dining in a cozy dining room near the airport. A perfect last meal in America or a great welcome back. Hope to see this restaurant around for a million years.
Keep up the great work! 🙏🌱😍
Pros: vegan owned and operated, sole proprietor not corporate trash , no greenwashing, just washed greens

I got the Soulfood platter and everything was delicious. I especially enjoyed the potato salad and the tofu barbecue. Would definitely go again. The platter was around $20 which seems super expensive but honestly the portion was so big you could split it between two or three people.

You don't get a pass.... - Edit
Everything was great. I had the soul food platter. The flavor was on point. However, the sweet potato pie is horrible. Maybe I have higher expectations being a southerner and all. It's bitter and you don't smell the spices nor taste the spices or any of it's sweet potatoe deliciousness when you open the container. You don't get a pass for effin up the Black people's go to pie. Especially if you're Black.
