Best lunch I’ve had in a while…5+ stars - Edit
We had previously been to the Strong Hearts location in Syracuse, and the second location did not disappoint disappoint. All the food is delicious and gorgeously presented…surprising how colorful and “like the pictures” it all looks. And the milkshakes really are perfection. Open a location in the Capital Region!!

Disappointed... - Edit
I'm not going to put this on Google because I know many of us vegans will come here anyway. My intention is not to hurt the business but it was very disappointing today for dinner cuz I brought my family here this evening and I ordered what I always order - the wings and we only got three instead of four and there's four of us. So I guess they changed and reduced the number that we're used to getting - not a very good customer experience. Ok i guess things change but then - number two my wife ordered a gluten-free Autumn Harvest quesadilla it was a tortilla with the most miserable stingy amount of ingredients you've ever seen. I got a lemonade for my son and there was no sweetener in it so he didn't drink it. I spent a lot of money here didn't get a lot of value for my money. I don't feel like complaining to the people who are working here but it's not like anyone's coming to check on us anyway. I hope they can look into the portioning here cuz it feels like I just got ripped off not to mention my family's disappointment they didn't get to share a wing today. - Sour Lemons Guy

My husband and I had lunch here as we arrived in town. I didn't get photos of the food because we ate it so fast. I got the BBQ Fried Chicken sandwich; my husband go the Reuben. Both were spectacular. We bought pastries for breakfast the next day. Those were excellent as well.

Husband and I both had “chicken” burgers and enjoyed them! He had the Sassy and I had the Buffalo Bleu. Chicken was some of the best vegan chicken I’ve had texture wise and the Buffalo did not disappoint! Honestly wanted to try most of the menu and the biggest downside was having to choose! There’s a variety of sandwiches, salads and even macaroni and cheese so you can choose something heavier or lighter depending on mood. And they have desserts, coffee and treats! Also the decor / atmosphere is great.

This was the second vegan restaurant we visited while dropping off son to school. Located in the heart of downtown Buffalo, it is a beautiful restaurant adorned with artwork and very spacious and clean. The menu is extensive and the staff is friendly. I had the Reuben sandwich and my husband had the Big Cahuna burger (lots of pineapple in that one). We also had a mango smoothie, chocolate cupcake and guava cheesecake (yes, we brought our appetites). Oh-my-goodness was it all excellent! Highly recommend!

I’m so glad Happy Cow led us to this gem on our cross country road trip! I got the Thai tofu salad and my partner got the bahn mi. We shared the small nachos. It was way too much food and unfortunately we couldn’t even come close to finishing the nachos, but everything was delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and fecund in tasty choices. I love having the problem of not knowing what to order because everything sounds good and is vegan!

First time checking this place out. Ordered the “beef” shawarma and it was incredible. The fries were good but a bit too salty. My partner ordered the Cajun sandwich and it was also incredible. Excited to try more of their menu!

It's wonderful to have a few fully vegan places to count on in Buffalo, but this place is open on Sunday nights which I love! There are always great rotating desserts, which I want to recommend the birthday cake cheesecake because it was to die for. Sandwiches are great here but recently decided on a salad and the dressing was out of this world. Choose anything and try something!

I typically deduct a star for expensive restaurants, however, Strong Hearts earns their prices. Their seating is great - the atmosphere is bright, inviting, and fun, and the portions are very good (chickenless salad is gigantic). Every time I get food here it’s delicious af. Completely recommend this place.

The staff was very helpful on making recommendations. My friends and I tried the sweet & sassy molassy. The hot hunny Mac and cheese, the NYC chopped cheese, and a few different cupcakes. The sweet & sassy molassy was definitely my favorite! The holiday nog cupcake was sooo delicious! I can’t wait to go back here.

We stopped here after reading all the rave reviews and were not disappointed. We tried the Mushroom Melt Burger, the Bleu Chicken Sandwich & the Buffalo Mac&Cheese. All great and very filling. Prices were not too bad (~$16 for a sandwich). The staff was super friendly, and the restaurant vibe was nice.

Big portions, good seasoning and a friendly staff keep this place hopping. The one drawback is a lot of fried and oil used, but we came here in vacation so it was a special treat. I rarely eat anything fried or sautéed in oil. Just clueing you in on my palate. I could only eat 1/2 my cheesesteak and filled potato salad. Go for the “Buffalo” option. We both thought the dill potato salad was spiced right. The hot sauce was not burning hot and had a sweet overtone. Bummer that I couldn’t try a milkshake!
Read moreNext time a salad - they sound yummy- and have a bite or 2 of my husband’s order. Hopefully, I’ll have room for a shake. Desserts include milkshakes, cakes, cookies and cupcakes. Perfect for lunch or casual dinner. Street parking was available on a Saturday. There is seating for a large group. Don’t know about local public transportation.
No alcohol, does takeout.

I was so happy to find this place on a recent work trip to Buffalo. The Mac and cheese was delicious (would have loved even more Buffalo and Blue Cheese!) and the salad to-go was perfect for my lunch the next day. The sweets were super tempting - so many cupcakes and classic little Debbie treats vegan twist like oatmeal cream pies - but I didn’t try. I highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area!
