Schmeckt nach altem Fett - Edit
Wer schon mal ein frisch frittiertes Arancino probiert hat, möchte keins mehr, das bereits seit Stunden in der Auslage liegt. Schmeckte nach altem Fett, also ziemlich ranzig, wird nur kurz noch mal aufgewärmt. Musste danach dringend was anderes essen, um den Geschmack aus dem Mund zu bekommen.

Many vegan Options and much cheaper then the rich-peoples-place near by. It was really full of people like whole Taormina, but we waited just ten minutes. Despite the stress, the service was very friendly. THANK YOU!

Read moreI found it incredibly disappointing, the vegan schiacciata was not fresh (was stored in a plastic wrap as opposed to all other schiacciate) and didn't even taste that good.
On top of this, the potato crocché were also very obviously not fresh, but just a ready product.
I might have been luckier had I tried the arancina perhaps.
Pros: Decent prices, You actually get a few vegan options
Cons: Schiacchiata was not good, Crocché were not good

Street Food-Strit Fud clever name - Edit
Clever name for italian street food. They offer mini veggie pizzas (without vegan cheese) as well as other italian snacks like chick-pea  pannelli and  rice arancini. There is meat on the menu (4 put if 17 items they offer) so make sure you ask for the vegano vegan options. In the summer they tend to close later, check Google for latest hours.

Read moreWe went here twice and arancini was made fresh for us! They also had 2 vegan pizzas, panelle, and a sandwich. The panelle was delicious! Ideal for a lunch to go - we took our lunch to the park or the beach! There are a few seats available if you wanted to sit inside.

Okay, but not up to standards of Sicilian street food. We had arancini and scaccia, they were decent, but didn't feel very fresh. Vegan options were limited. Service was fast and accommodating, nonetheless.

Nice Sicilian vegan options. I enjoyed the arancini but the sandwich I had was OK. I definitely recommend everyone to try the arancini here if they can only choose one thing… crispy on the outside and savory/soft on the inside. Delicious.😄

Best vegan Arancini - Edit
The vegan arancini were amazing! Went back here for several lunches during our week in Taormina as it’s so convenient and the non vegans loved it too. I also tried the vegan pizza and a sandwich, both excellent (especially the pizza) but nothing can beat those arancini! If you’re veggie go for the Norma arancini as recommended by my meat-living sister!
