Good vegan option on the way - Edit
Good option for lunch if you are around! Only one vegan option (and the fries), not the best bread (a kind of focaccia), but the fillings are very tasty (tofu, mint, peanut butter sauce...). I would recommend :)

Super tasty sandwiches! - Edit
Stranwiches has always a vegan choice and a vegetarian one. The vegan one was amazing! With tofu and some chosen vegetables. It changes every month so I would have to come back soon! And even though it's not huge it's quite filling. Maybe 10£ for a sandwich are a bit too much

No Bread? No Problem! - Edit
As soon as I entered this small but perfectly formed shop, I was warned that they had sold out bread. Given the fact that I just schlepped up a hill (minor incline) to get there, I was somewhat crestfallen by the news. However, all was not lost as I was informed wraps were now on the menu, so a wrap it was to be! The vegan offering was a tofu banh mi which came absolutely rammed full of filling. While I have no doubt that it would have been better on their freshly baked bread, this iteration was still very tasty indeed and more that worth the journey to get it.

Incredibly popular OTT sandwiches - Edit
A follow up from #1 tacos, this is a very, very popular takeout place where you can order very elaborate sandwiches.
Read moreThe menu changes all the time, but they seem to have a rotation of 1 vegan and 1 vegetarian sandwich.
I say sandwiches, but they seem to be more like very full wraps that use bread rolls rather than tortillas, if you follow.
I got the festive themed "the trimmings", which had cauliflower cheese and a laundry list of other ingredients. The vegan option similarly had around 10 fillings listed on the menu.
The place was very busy but did get me served quite quickly - it's usually queued well out the door most weekdays. Seems like you can order online, which is advisable.
Taste wise, it was above average. Definitely unique and definitely very filling. It came with a peppercorn sauce they described as gravy, which was delicious. Also had satsuma in there - quite fun idea, festive themed.
TL;DR: Very much worth a try.
On contrary side: If you're a salad dodger, or a very plain eater, or have low appetite ,you won't like it.
It's also on the pricey side: £11 for mine.
Once again: pre order, they seem to sell out of things and don't mark that on the menu.
