These tacos are the best. Wide variety of vegan options. My non-vegan family and friends are always down for this as well. I can’t tell you which I love the most because I rotate based on my mood but don’t miss the chickpea Elote(request vegan), bean & Chile, crispy potato… nvrmd….I’ll write the whole menu. Just give it a try. Burritos are great too but I like the variety of tacos. I give them 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Menu items are labeled as vegetarian. Staff clearly gets many vegan requests so they know what's up. They share a small parking lot with neighboring businesses, but there's street parking too.

Best tacos ever!! I loved the cauliflower taco and horchata! But the best part was how helpful and knowledgeable the chef/cashier was about vegan options. He was able to list all the popular vegan items, spice level, and vegan modifications if needed. And they have vegan cake!!

I've dropped in enough times now when I just don't feel like cooking dinner. So glad they opened this new location, it's easier that the prior one. The staff is friendly and very vegan friendly. All the dishes are great, the drinks, the dessert (you have to get a vegan dessert when they're there, right?), it's like the local comfort food place. Pick any of the veggie tacos (jackfruit, brussel sprouts, soyrizo) they're all good. I've gone just to get a Posole though (and I love that they even have a vegan posole), sometimes you just want a large tub of spicy soup!

If you’re looking for a good spot for vegan tacos / Hispanic food, look no further! If the app would let me, I’d give str8 up tacos a full 5 stars... I’ve looked high and low through SoCal for years for some solid vegan Mexican food and been COMPLETELY disappointed until I found this spot! Even though str8 up tacos isn’t fully vegan there are a solid 14 options for tacos alone with a few other options on the menu listed as vegetarian/ vegan and the staff is pretty knowledgeable of veganism as well.

I think their vegan Horchata is really worth mentioning as well!.. For years I’ve had an undying thirst for some good horchata that’s only been met with overly flavorful and grainy sad attempts at horchata BUT my search for good horchata has finally ended... Str8 up tacos definitely hits the mark all around, all for a cheap price!!!

Amazing vegan tacos! Currently a walk-up window at a car wash, but they're moving down the road soon as an eat-in restaurant. Big line = good food. Yes, they have a few meat options, but their veg options are creative and wonderfully executed. So glad I took a chance on this place - I'll be back often.

Hidden gem soon to have their own space - Edit
I drive by an empty location that has a vegetarian tacos sign so I decided to search the name of the place and it seemed like they have multiple locations so the empty one must have closed. Turns out that the empty location will be their new location later this year and it's a proper size indoor dining space. Current location is a gas station? Car wash? Seems to have a lot going on that I almost drove past it by the GPS said this is the place. Noticed some people in line at a window so walked up and saw the menu. Various vegan alternameat options. Jackfruit has been common for years but still hard to find places that do hibiscus. They do here! This time I didn't get the hibiscus as I wanted to try something else. Tacos on menu but can be made as a burrito. Most items are easily veganized by removing the cheese. Got a burrito and it came with two sauces. Was really, really tasty. I cannot emphasize enough how much flavor was added by the tender care of grilling veggies. You can taste the difference. I can't wait to go back and keep trying new items. Looking forward to when they move to the bigger space.

this place has lots of vegan options available, tho my faves a tie between the cauliflower and the jackfruit. the 4 tacos and a drink combo (and the agua frescas here is GOOD) makes for a nice lunch or dinner takeout. if the parking lot is filled you can get parking at the nearby park or school lot. totally odd location but it wouldn't be the same without it.

The vegan cauliflower tacos are my absolute favorite! I have tried other vegan tacos here and they are all fantastic so you can’t go wrong no matter what you order. The hot sauce that comes on the side is very hot and delicious! I wish I lived closer I would go here all the time! My non vegan family has eaten here with me and have always enjoyed their food too.

Yes this is inside the carwash. You order outside and wait for your order inside. Parking is tight so good luck I parked at the high school next door, but I have no idea if this is a good idea.
Read moreI ordered the jackfruit and crispy potato taco's with the homemade tortilla upgrade. As well as an agua fresca. The jackfruit taco was really flavorful and the bigger of the 2 tacos that I ordered. It had a good texture as and was a good size. I liked the potato taco more, it was deep fried so it was totally the less healthy of the 2 options but sometimes you have to just eat the fried taco. The picked veggies on top were a great compliment. I ordered chips and salsa both the mild and hot. The mild was a pico style and had flavor and a good texture. The green was spicy and more of a sauce. I loved the heat and the flavor was not overpowered.
The agua fresca was really sweet and had a lot of flavor, so I watered it down when I got home and had 2 good sized drinks.
All vegan/veg tacos are packaged separate from each other
Specify vegan because many of the vegetable tacos have cheese or cream.

I wish I could give this place 5 stars, but this app only allows that if the place is solely vegan/vegetarian. I ordered the jackfruit, crispy potato and hibiscus tacos. Delicious! I went back and ordered one of each kind, plus the other 2 vegan options so my hubby could try all of them. I heard multiple (non veggie) people order from the veggie menu. I was told that the most popular veggie taco is the hibiscus. Yum. I heard lots of ppl ordering the crispy potato taco. Yum. They were knowledgeable about food allergies and cross contamination. Several people with various food allergies came here while I was there.
