Vegan can have a tofu poke and charred asparagus, a choice of salads, not-lob-roll made with hearts of palm, and a tofu main with pineapple, peppers, and onions over crispy rice cakes. Open Mon-Thu 11:30am-8:30pm, Fri-Sat 11:30am-9:00pm, Sun 11:30am-8:30pm.

Great food with an even better view! They have several vegan options including apps, salads, a tofu entree, and even a vegan lobster roll! Vegan options are clearly marked on the menu, but some items were marked wrong so double check with the server.
Read moreThe highlight was the vegan crab cakes and soyrizo taco! The lobster roll was just ok but worth trying.
And nothing beats the view where you are a stones throw from the ocean! Highly recommend.

Super delicious! I got the tofu main and my son got the "crabby cakes". Nothing was left! Great service and good food. Dinner rolls were tasty, vegan butter option was subpar. Overall, a great experience.

Read moreThere were a surprising number of vegan options! We got the not-lobster roll made with hearts of palm, vegan chorizo tacos, and grilled asparagus. The drinks were good too.
I was there with a non-vegan, and they got mussels made with vegan butter instead of dairy butter.
I'd recommend and go back again.

Lots of great vegan options! We had the vegan “not-lob roll”, chick pea burger with fries, chorizo tacos, vegan Caesar, and hot buttered rolls with vegan butter. All were absolutely delicious, and flavorful. Very reasonable pricing as well. We will definitely be back!!!

Wow! Surprised to find this great restaurant when exploring coastal Maine towns. Super friendly servers and right on the ocean where it was fun to watch surfers. Several vegan dishes and options to make things gluten free, too. Had the crabby cakes and a no-lob roll on a gluten free roll that was actually yummy with a very fresh side salad. Unfortunately no vegan desserts offered when we were there.

They had a squash pasta dish that was very tasty. they had a homemade chick pea black bean patty that I added. A but mushy but still tasty. Great bloody marys!

Vegan food in York Beach ME - Edit
Yay! I was so excited to find this place! After struggling with the paltry vegan options at most of the place in York Beach The Stones Throw was a breath of fresh air. Service was fabulous, the view from the patio-gorgeous and the food was delicious. I had the Not Lob Roll and the Crabby Chickpea cakes. Everything was top notch. So grateful for this place!

Don't get the broccoli - Edit
We loved the tofu dish as well as the chickpea burger. The bang bang broccoli was awful. Cold, flavorless, steamed broccoli with a strange vegan aioli. Nothing special about it at all and it was $15 for the plate of steamed cold broccoli. I never send things back but I had to with this one. They were fantastic about it and the rest of the food was great.

So many vegan seafood options! Love that it’s also whole food plant based rather than fake meats (not that I don’t enjoy indulging in those, too!). Portions are large, view is gorgeous, drinks are excellent. One of the best restaurant experiences in Maine!

Stones Throw is awesome. We eat there every time we stay in York. They have several vegan options that are all amazing. My favorite is the roasted asparagus with spicy peanut sauce. We’ve also tried the not-lob-roll, tofu dish and chickpea-sweet potato burger. All are great.

Ate there for lunch today. My husband and I split the No-Lob- Roll with hearts of palm and Tofu Adobe with pineapple, peppers, onions and rice. Both were delicious.
