I think it’s great that there’s an Indian restaurant in Waco and I’m so impressed that they have so many vegan options. Maybe it was just what we ordered but we weren’t very impressed. It was the most oily Aloo Gobi I’ve ever seen and the samosas were decent but the filling was as smooth as baby food. I actually still thought it was a decent meal, but my mother (who’s usually pretty easy-going) whole-heartedly disagreed.
If you’re really craving Indian while in Waco, it’s a good option. Maybe it was just an off-night.
The place is trendy, but not very active. The guy who took our order was kind as well. My partner and I decided to share the tikka masala and they gave us a free half order of rice. The mango juice was tasty. Things are on the higher end price wise, but so is most things by Baylor. I would recommend.
In Waco and found this wonderful spot for lunch. Every thing is freshly made and tested so good. The owner explained each dish and each was made to perfection. We had the Vindaloo and the Aloo Gobi. Both dishes were vegan and fantastic! Wish this place was in our hometown.
Great place in the middle of downtown if your craving some great vegan Indian food! They even have a happy cow sticker! I loved the cauliflower and potato curry with the bread and rice its heavily
