CLOSED: Stir Fry Cafe

I grew up in this area and I was so happy when Stir Fry came to town. I love all the tofu options and how can you beat Thai Tea? I have always had a great experience with the staff and asking questions is never seen as an imposition. Go there if you are in the tri-cities.

I moved to JC recently. Went to Stir Fry, my 1st time and asked about vegan items. i was told the Rancha Veggie dish was the only vegan item on the menu (except for edamame, veggie sushi rolls, & lettuce wraps). The next time i went there I asked again about what dishes are vegan- I was told only the Gardener's platter is vegan (as well as the edamame, veggie sushi rolls, & lettuce wraps). Just want everyone to know a LOT of the sauces stir fry has are NOT vegan- they have oyster sauce or some animal bi-products. Gardener's platter is vegan. I have asked a few more times and everyone echos that this dish is vegan. It is pretty good.

This place has many vegetarian and vegan options. There are many classic Asian stir frys served with tofu or with a variety of veggies. There is also a pretty long list of vegetarian sushi to choose from. I thought the food was great but be prepared for large portions! The atmosphere is great with local artwork decorating the walls. A great vegetarian option in a city which has no vegetarian restaurants.
