Die Gemüselasagne ist die beste Gemüselasagne, die wir beide je gegessen haben. Besonders die Bechamel war wirklich gut.
Die Seitanschnitzel waren auch hervorragend (etwas mehr Preiselbeerdip wäre aber noch besser gewesen). Der Kartoffelsalat war erstaunlich erfrischend.
Die Nougatknödel waren ebenfalls sehr lecker.
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn wir nochmal in der Gegend sind.
Wir hatten das Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellt, weil das Restaurant leider voll ausgebucht war

Das vegane Speisenangebot kann sich wirklich sehen lassen! Wir haben so herrlich gegessen, die Schnitzel aus hausgemachten Seitan waren perfekt, sowie alle anderen Gerichte die wir dort gegessen haben.

My go to for amazing meals - Edit
Not all vegan, but would deserve 5 stars! They have a very big vegan selection that changes seasonally. My go to restaurant for family celebrations (no matter if vegan only or mixed!), because they have traditional Austrian food for both carnivores and vegans alike.

Wenn die Köchinnen selber vegan sind, dann macht sich das im veganen Essen auch auf sehr positive Weise bemerkbar.
Read moreDas Essen war geschmacklich richtig richtig gut - der Salat auf Wunsch verfeinert mit steirischem Kernöl war ordentlich viel und in einer guten Kombination.
Vegane und auch glutenfreie Nachspeisen wie Topfendstrudel und andere Nachtische, die man seltenst vegan bekommt, bereichern den Besuch dieses Gasthauses.
Das Tagesmenü besteht auch immer aus einem veganen Angebot.
5 Sterne Empfehlung von mir- mein Sohn, der Fleisch gegessen hat, war auch vollends zufrieden und lobte die Zubereitung.
Auf jeden Fall sticht dieses Gasthaus absolut heraus was veganes Essen betrifft.

Bestes Restaurant für Veganer - Edit
Obwohl es nicht völlig vegan ist, hat es vielfältige Optionen für Veganer. Je nach Saison wechselt die Karte, zB Spargel, Kürbis oder Eierschwammerl. Auf der Karte gibt's außerdem zB in vegan: Kaspressknödelsuppe, Schnitzel, Wild, Topfenknödel,...alles einfach unglaublich toll!

Several Vegans in the kitchen are preparing variations of traditional Austrian dishes plus more. Everything is homemade and seasonal, it’s an absolute favorite of mine. You may easily go for a multiple course meal there, according to the menu, but beware - the rations are big!

We arrived sometime between lunch and dinner, so they only had a VERY limited menu with one vegan option- a vegan lasagne. I was disappointed not to have the vegan schnitzel but the lasagne was delicious. The location was beautiful!

A whole page of the menu is vegan and they also offer around 8 vegan desserts! Wow!
Not easy to decide!
I had chickpea gnocchi in a creamy sauce and very yummy nougat dumplings as dessert. The portions are pretty lush and the prices very reasonable.
My main was around 13€.
Unfortunately on the surface a little cold, but when I mixed it up, it was alright.
The staff is very friendly and we had a nice chat. They are also very dog-friendly.
We also got a shot of their homemade vegan baileys to try for free.
A nice place with beautiful area surrounding.

We went to the „Stiftskeller St. Florian“ on the birthday of my boyfriend and the food was amazing! They offer many vegan meals, desserts and wine. Everything we ordered was really delicious and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

Im Stiftskeller St.Florian gibt es eine breitgefächerte und bunte Auswahl an veganen Gerichten. Anders als bei vielen Restaurants, in denen ganz einfache Speisen in veganer Ausführung angeboten werden (Gemüsepfanne, Salat, usw.) wurde hier darauf geachtet, vielfältige Gerichte anzubieten.
Read moreDoch nicht nur die Auswahl an veganen Optionen ist sehr zufriedenstellend, auch geschmacklich lässt sich nichts gegen den Stiftskeller einzuwenden. Besonders positiv war ebenfalls, dass bei den meisten Gerichten auf Saisonalität und Regionalität geachtet wurde.
Der St.Florian Stiftskeller arbeitet sehr mit Liebe zum Detail bei der Präsentation der Speisen. Ausgehend von der Chefin, die ebenfalls vegan ist, merkt man, dass hier ein persönliches Anliegen den Gästen vermittelt wird.

Traditional austrian food, veganized - Edit
I love Stiftskeller's food. They manage to create vegan options of many traditional dishes, with a few twists. They also have vegan versions of austrian desserts which is super rare! For example I had an "Eispalatschinke" (vanilla ice cream pancake) you can see on the photo.
