Stickhouse

After discovering "Stickhouse" on HappyCow we went there to have some ice cream and were surprised that they also had vegan pistachio, hazelnut and chocolate ice cream beside the fruity ones (all fruity one are vegan except for banana)! The ice cream is really delicious and the owner knew right away what's vegan and what's not. Even the chocolate topping is suitable for vegans (ask for the dark one :))

Take hazelnut ice cream with dark chocolate topping and hazelnut crush and you have your vegan "Nogger" :D (a German ice cream type)

All made from fruit & juice only no regular sugar added. Simply super!

I was so pleased to discover Stickhouse on a recent holiday to Fuengirola. The 'vegan' sign on the shop front was very encouraging, and sure enough the owner was able to offer me several different options. They are ice cream sticks (as the name suggests) rather than soft ice cream. The vegan options include pistachio, hazelnut and strawberry flavours and they're so flavoursome. The owner also told me that they were gluten and sugar free. The shop also serves dairy ice creams. Well worth a visit (or several) for any vegans in the area!
