Sterling Espresso Bar

Great direct trade speciality coffee with vegan savoury and sweet options. This place is mostly a coffee shop but does do amazing vegan cakes and some food. I had a pizza scroll which was delicious others had the carrot cake (the best) and a muffin then we tried the iced coffees... amazing!
Also available vegan high quality chocolate, we took these away and it was incredible!
Would recommend a visit!

Karen & Katie who are both very passionate about food are both vegan (however the menu isn't entirely vegan) are incredibly friendly a love to make and share good food! Karen is an amazingly talented woman and the cinnamon buns are a MUST HAVE !! Also carrot cake is normally available and other things are available sometimes (other raw cakes and slices, it is just luck of the draw what she decides to make), also they make amazing coffee. and sometimes have sandwiches etc (but trust me you want to go there for the sweets!!). If you're in the area you should really make it a priority to come here and enjoy a cuppa and cinnamon bun!!

Went here with the need to coffee and was pretty pleased that we found a Nice and delicious soy latte! The carrotcake was very good, and I would definitely recommend them!

From the outside Slitti cafe looks like a great coffee and chocolate shop, I was expecting the usual vegan options of dark chocolate and soya milk. However I was amazed by the response I got when I asked if any of the cakes where vegan. Almost half the cakes where vegan including an amazing carrot cake. They even had a carrot and hummus sandwich on offer.
Turns out some of the staff are vegan. The staff where amazingly friendly and even offered advice in other good vegan place to eat in the surrounding areas.
Highly recommended.

awesome soy latte, good selection of goumet dark vegan chocolates, always have some vegan desserts for sale such as cinnamon buns, carrot cakes. Owners are vegan. Super friendly.
