Gorgeous food - Edit
Loved the special, a very tasty and varied corn stew that exceeded expectations, and the mango cheesecake, small but perfectly formed. And vegan Baileys. Hooray!

Great food - Edit
The food was really nice and not a bad price for Cambridge. The portions were just the right size for me, but could be a bit on the small size if you were bigger. The desserts were good too, not too sweet. Was a bit hard to find the place as it's on the 1st floor so not very visible from the street.

fantastic - Edit
This place was seriously amazing. A must go if you're in Cambridge. The food is so fresh and delicious, they even make their own sauerkraut and kombucha! My Omni dad loved the pulled jackfruit burger, and I had the beautiful Buddha bowl- exactly what I needed after a lot of travelling around.

The door(way) to my heart! - Edit
Planned a trip to Cambridge this morning and booked a table here online after reading other reviews saying it's advisable as it can get busy.
Read moreThrough a little doorway, then up the stairs at the side of the cycle shop below, we came for Sunday roast and will definitely be back! Just what we were after for a filling, delicious and varied lunch. When we got ours the kitchen was out of cauliflower cheese but when another batch was made we got some too and lovely it was!
Most of the dessertscakes were sold out early (it looks like the sensible thing to do is order yours with your main to secure the treats while they're still there, Pro tip!) but the chef was just icing another chocolate cake so we waited with great coffee while it child and was well worth it. We're stuffed and happy, what more do you want? Oh, great service and nice surroundings? You got it.
We'll be back.

vegan food at yoga place - Edit
The food is good, a bit on the pricey side. They discount the leftovers after 3. Can get busy, was a bit hectic for me.

delicious nutritious - Edit
This is some of the best vegan food I've eaten. It was quite busy the evening we were there, and service was horribly slow, but it really was worth waiting for. Imaginative menu that provided a well balanced meal, lots of interesting flavours. Gorgeous cakes.
Read moreYou can watch the chef in an open kitchen in front of you.
Very reasonably priced.
You definitely need to book for the evening. Also, it is a hard place to find - on a busy main road but behind a closed, narrow, door that is hard to spot - at least it was for us!
Pros: Delicious nutritious, very reasonably priced
Cons: only that you need to remember to book in evenings

Very good food - Edit
Stem and Glory serves very nice food. Don't get too excited by the buffet though because they serve you and the portions are not generous. I had to encourage my "server' to squeeze a bit of everything onto the plate, she suggested it wouldn't fit, I was about to use expletives, and suggest I could show her how to stack a plate with food when I remembered I was in a posh yoga joint in Cambridge and I might get tutted at. Having said that this place is not so posh when it comes to serving tea! My earl grey came in a cup with no saucer and no where to put the tea bag. Still it was a good blend and the oat milk a quality one.
Read more£8.50 for a plate of food thats not organic is not cheap, I'd recommend arriving at 3.25pm when they sell off the day time menu at half price. There was only one rather sad looking cake on offer when I was there and no sugar free cakes promised at all - rather surprising given the emphasis on healthy eating.
Still the staff apparel promised fast, fresh and vegan and they could add "tasty" to that list too.
Pros: Good tasty food, Speedy service
Cons: Liable to run out of full buffet selection., Not generous portions. , No sugar free desserts.

Pros: Only entirely vegan eatery in Cambridge, Excellant service, Fresh local produce used throughout
Cons: Not easy to find and up a flight of stairs.

Wonderful vegan Christmas meal - Edit
Just because we are retired doesn't mean we can't have a 'works' Christmas meal, and this year we choose Stem & Glory. We are vegetarians but have many vegan family members so have been looking for somewhere nice to take them when they visit. We have eaten in vegan restaurants in several cities/countries but I think this is the first fully vegan restaurant in Cambridge. To give a fair trial we selected two different starters (Whole meal bread with red pepper hummus & nut free pesto and the Roasted Vegetable Stack), two different mains (the Christmas Roast and the Mushroom bourguignon) and two different wines (a glass of Wild Thin Prosecco with the starters and a bottle of Novas Carmenere with the main), but just one desert (Raw raspberry cheesecake). The restaurant wasn't full when we arrived, or while we were there, but we felt very well attended to, without being fussed over, and found it easy to get attention when we wanted it. Advise on the menu was readily given and helpful. As for the food, it was wonderful, not only in flavour and texture but also in presentation. The pesto and hummus with the wholemeal bread were really tasty while the Vegetable Stack was just fantastic. Until now I have not been a great fan of Kale, but I have been converted! The two main courses were equally excellent, and again presented beautifully. The red wine gravy with the roast was just wonderful. You are not going to go hungry eating here and by the time it came to desert we were pretty full but wanted to try the raw cheesecake so we shared one and again it was lovely. Both the wines we had were very good, the Prosecco light and fruity and the Novas Carmenere full of flavour but not too heavy. All this, and at the end a very reasonable bill! We will certainly be coming again and will gladly bring our vegan visitors, but we also felt that the food quality was such that we would happily bring non veggie/vegan friends as well.
Read morePros: Good selection of very tasty and fresh food, Good wines, with a reasonable selection, Friendly staff
Cons: Don't park above Staples - you will get locked in!

AMAZING! - Edit
My husband, myself, and our two little ones loved everything that we had to eat. We shared two plates amongst the four of us and each had a different dessert; everything was absolutely delicious. HIGHLY recommend!

Yummy and Friendly! - Edit
I initially discovered Stem & Glory on a Facebook ad, so decided to take a trek over there to check it out. Its about 25 miles from home, but a good vegan cafe is hard to find. I wasn't disappointed. Although I got there at changaround time (their menu changes from daytime to evening menu around 6pm I think) we were offered daytime menu for half price, which I think is a thing they do. So my daughter (age 4) and I had some shepherd (ess?) pie which was just gorgeous, with lentils and big chunks of carrots, onions gravy and a lovely potato and celeriac mash topping, perfect, yummy. I had a mint tea and my daughter had local apple juice. The atmosphere was welcoming, bustling but calm, as it's right where the yoga studios are. Really good vibe and I can't wait to go back. I might stay in Cambridge so we can experience breakfast, lunch and evening meal! I'm sure it would all be as lovely. Great to see this place, hope it thrives. Thank you xx

Loved it! - Edit
Lovely new spot in Cambridge....! The lunch service is super quick so it's great for taking away on lunch break, but the cafe has a great atmosphere and so is a nice place to sit and hang out for a while too. There's loads on offer at lunch but highlight was the lasagna and the teriyaki tofu! Great coffee too.
