Lots of great things to like about this restaurant, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and most importantly the food was so fresh and delicious. They even do a little child’s menu.

Utterly delicious food - Edit
I went with my partner and two friends for a birthday meal. I had the special, which was the Juicy Marbles steak, with creamy mash, mushroom sauce and vegetables. I didn't want it to end. My boyfriend's pizza was the best vegan pizza I've ever tasted, and my friends had ravioli and a veg bowl. Everything was perfect. They also brought out two proseccos for the birthday boys! I will definitely go back.

A MUST FOR ANY VEGAN or VEGAN CURIOUS PERSON! - Edit
I’ve been to this place only a handful times, and they have really expanded their menu since they first opened.
Read moreLocation is bang opp Cambridge station which makes this an ideal location if visiting Cambridge!
Ive tried the Korean (no) Fish Tacos (yes that’s right), Katsu curry, King oyster scallops and the apple pear crumble and they were all absolutely delicious. Only thing that left me underwhelmed was the bang bang broccoli- the flavours just didn’t suit my palate.
Pros: The entire menu is VEGAN, Amazing desserts - yes only vegan, Staff and service is good
Cons: Not cheap (££) can be pricey if ordering drinks, Space is not huge, booking required for groups, Bang bang broccoli gets a no from me

So much amazing food - Edit
We had an amazing meal here last night. Can’t recommend highly enough. The venue is very relaxed and informal. The staff were very friendly and attentive. You’ve got to have the bang bang broccoli. Absolutely my fave dish. The Italian stew and the gnocchi were also very tasty. We would definitely go back. Nothing bad to say 🌱

Lovely burger! - Edit
I had the Dirty burger and it was absolutely lovely. There was plenty there but not so much that you couldn’t pick it up and eat it without it falling apart. The chefs are on view too which I always appreciate. Gorgeous looking restaurant.

I visited Stem & Glory with 3 non-vegan family members. All of us had a thoroughly enjoyable meal and were in agreement that it’s the best restaurant food we’ve had in Cambridge.

Highly recommend! - Edit
The food was amazing and delicious. The menu is very creative, fresh, and based on seasonal food. The service was a bit slow, but the restaurant was very busy, and this definitely won't stop us from coming back as the delicious food totally made up for it. #Veganuary

Amazing! - Edit
The food is awesome - it's a creative take on international statement favourites, composed carefully with quality ingredients. I'd say that even the most picky foodies will appreciate this place. It seems like it's very easy to choose and appreciate the menu as a non-vegan (we went as a group of 3 non-vegans 2 vegans, everyone was blown away by the flavours and presentation).

gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous - Edit
i booked a table for 3 , only available option was outside which was completely fine but in march …. it was rather chilly so we had blankets , but in about 10 minutes of being outside they had a table inside for us as they had space which was incredible. you wouldn’t believe some of the food is vegan honestly i cannot recommend this restaurant more highly . absolutely delicious. the presentation is immaculate and the flavours of the vegetables and sauces they add together to make these gorgeous dishes is incredible.

Nice food, but expense and took forever - Edit
didn’t take our order for 15 mins,
Read moredidn’t get our drinks for another 25 mins,
our food took over an hour.
The staff took other peoples orders who had sat down after us first, others who had ordered after us got their food before us!
we believe they had forgotten our main dishes as when we asked how long the food would be (after being there for about 55mins) there was a long conversation between chef and waitress and when the food eventually came out the chips were still hard and the burger seemed underdone as if they had rushed it.
The staff apologised for the wait but didn’t offer any discounts or try to speed up the service.
Pros: Food was nice
Cons: Expensive, Took over an hour to get our food , Took 35mins to get our drinks

great food- spacious airy location. - Edit
The new location near the railway station is a little walk from the centre of Cambridge but is well worth the walk. We went on Saturday lunch time- no reservation and although there was plenty of space we got the sense that reservations are preferred. They do have outdoor seating as well. The space is nice and airy and felt more restaurant than cafe. Service was very quick - our group had a burger and two of the salad bowls. We were all very happy with the food which felt clean and healthy- I noticed there were no fries on the menu which is interesting these days and certainly support!. We were on a mission so sadly had no time for dessert but were full enough from the main courses we had.

Healthy but disappointing - Edit
The staff were nice and it has a good atmosphere. The first thing we tried were the tacos which were truly delicious. We got excited then but sadly the other dishes were not good. The kimchi pancakes were bland and quite soggy, not crispy on outside like I expect kimchi pancakes to be. Also the kimchi fried rice didn't seem like anything fried. It just seemed to be plain black rice with a little bit of kimchi on top.
Read morePros: Friendly, relaxed atmosphere, Food seemed healthy and fresh, Tacos were good
Cons: Soggy pancakes :(, Disappointing fried rice , Bang bang broccoli was also soggy😒

Pricey - Edit
I had a chocolate and hazelnut torte that was good to eat. I also had a herb tea. Total cost was £12.78 inclusive of service charge and a Carbon Free Dining donation included in the bill. I've not eaten out for a long time in Cambridge but I was shocked at the price.

Excellent service by knowledgeable wait staff made the evening special. Cafe style tables but a fine dining menu. We were brought hummus and crudités on the house, and they were presented with exceptional artistry. The mains were imaginative.
