Great Spot! - Edit
A great spot to grab a coffee with milk alternative for breakfast. Also the vegan breakfast burritos were really tasty! The style and vibe of stellar brew is also amazing. Can definitely recommend!

Good option - Edit
Got the trailmix latte (coconut almond and hazelnut flavored) and vegan breakfast burrito. They were delicious! I'm not normally one to go for the "healthy" option (aka quinoa and kale for breakfast) but it was such a relief to have hot food and it was well seasoned.

Get the Trail Mix Latte! - Edit
I came here for breakfast two days in a row and really enjoyed it. The trail mix latte with oatmilk is a hit! The açai bowl was very tasty as well and also the vegan breakfast burrito was top! I took one with me on the trail when I left Mammoth Lakes that day.

A long way from good vegan - Edit
The menu notates vegan options or can be made vegan. Ordered an Açaí bowl with no honey. No vegan sweetener available. Added maca and matcha. Clearly no idea how to blend and make it taste good. Also ordered a maca smoothly. I can’t quite describe the disgusting flavor.

juice smoothie coffee bar w light fare - Edit
This place is only open til 3p so get here for breakfast or lunch. Breakfast cuts off at 11a. Small dining room frequented by mountain folk and locals. For vegan lunch there was a wrap, salad and the Basin Bowl can be ordered without eggs. I had the AvoBerry Smoothie w added maca and their use of nutmeg rocked!

Cute spot, decent options - Edit
We got here just before noon and I was a little bummed at missing out on the vegan breakfast burrito but they had about 10 of them pre-made on a warming shelf 👌🏼 they have oat, hemp, coconut or almond milk options for coffees and smoothies. They also sell cashew yoghurt, Justin’s peanut butter cups and some other snacks, as well as 2 choices of vegan muffins. The food was pretty good, definitely some of the best out of very limited vegan options in Mammoth.

Loved it - Edit
They have a vegan breakfast burrito with carrots, onion, peppers potatoes and tempeh wrapped in a spinach tortilla. Its very filing, I could have shared it but it was so good I ate the whole thing. They also have vegan cookies and muffins as well as gluten free ones. Green smoothies. This is my new go to spot.

yummy treats - Edit
We only went in because we saw on happy cow that they had some sweets to offer. We picked up a big gluten free chocolate chip cookie (too oily and fell apart but still delicious) a vegan banana muffin that was great and Justin's dark chocolate peanut butter cups which is always a win :) they have some more options I think also.

Vegan breakfast in Mammoth Lakes - Edit
This place is perfect for having breakfast in Mammoth Lakes. Vegan burritos, cookies, muffins, coffee with plant milks, etc. Additionally, every option can be customized, so the list od vegan meals can be increases. The best thing about the food is, the food is local and homemade. Also the local is very cozy.

Great Coffee with Vegan Options! - Edit
Vegan options in Mammoth are limited. I was happy to see that Stellar Brew had many cookies and muffins marked vegan and GF. I also grabbed a vegan burrito for breakfast and it was great, very filling. They had plant-based protein powders, smoothies, oatmeal, and both soy and almond milk for coffee. I came early though, around 8:00 a.m. :-)

There are only limited vegan options here. There is very yummy vegan breakfast burrito, but it is only served until 11 am. After that your only choice is a veggie wrap with hummus. Food is yummy just needs more vegan options.....

Loved it!!! - Edit
Food: 8 (I would make it higher if they had even more vegan options). Quite a few great vegan options! Sometimes I find that vegan options at places are boring or not hearty, but this place has great options. I loved it so much I ate breakfast there two days in a row. The first morning I had the vegan breakfast burrito (a tortilla filled with Field Roast apple "sausage", potatoes, and sauteed veggies), and the second morning I had the Cabin John (oatmeal with almonds, hemp seeds, sunflower seeds, and blueberries mixed in). Both were satisfying, wholesome, and tasty! Oh, and how could I have almost forgotten to mention that both mornings I had DELICIOUS vegan pastries! One was a coconut cake doughnut, and one was a cinnamon doughnut.

nice little cozy place - Edit
I stopped by the Stellar brew on a sunny afternoon after finding a 1$ coupon (with the mention of vegan optioon on it) in a touristic brochure and liked my experience. Service was not amazingly friendly, but ok. My veggie wrap was awesome, the medium roast coffee was really good and they made a nice almond milk hot chocolate for my boyfriend.

Internet was down =(, but we manage to catch another connection on the sunny terrace outside, where locals where chatting.
Overall a nice little cozy place where I almost felt at home.

few vegan options - Edit
"All of our menu items can be transformed into vegan, gluten free, or vegetarian style depending on your preference" says this cafe's website. Seeing as how the menu has many items, my vegan husband and I took this to mean that they had vegan options/substitutions and went ahead and visited this place. But according to the staff person there was only one vegan item available after breakfast. She told us that they usually had vegan desserts and soups, but at the time they only had two cookies and no soup that week. It's possible that we just came at the wrong time and this particular staff person just wasn't very familiar with the menu and any substitutions they could do.
