Reminiscent of the 1990s. Light, Filling, Warm Fare.

Set in the heart of the historic downtown Bethlehem, the no-frills interior and drop ceiling lights provide a 90s-style atmosphere.

Besides one person in booth seating who was typing on their laptop, everyone else was having an analog moment: reading a newspaper or interacting with the chefs.

For a winter afternoon, the vegan veggie pocket and the Vietnamese vegan bánh mì sandwich gave me a hearty, filling lunch.

Fulfilling food and friendly staff

Pretty standard cafe and I don’t think the photo does this meal much justice but I enjoyed it - it was a nice, healthy meal full of veggies!
The staff were really nice and friendly, I would definitely return.

First Visit- we will be back!

Spending a day with our granddaughter in Bethlehem and needed to find a place we could all enjoy (she is not vegan). What a pleasant surprise finding this place. First impression was how very friendly the server (owner?) was. And then came the drinks and food. All three of us enjoyed everything we ordered. The soft pretzels were a treat, and our sandwiches and sides were delicious. There seemed to be a lot of regular customers there. We will definitely be back.

Pros: Delicious , Comfortable atmosphere , Friendly and knowledgeable service.

Love this place

This is my favorite restaurant to visit when I'm in the Bethlehem area. Everything I've eaten here is absolutely delicious. The pretzels are the best I've ever had. The staff (I think they are husband and wife) are so friendly and helpful.

Pros: Good portion sizes, Friendly and helpful staff

Amazing Pretzels

The organic soft pretzels here are to die for. There's several vegan options on the menu, but I can never seem to stop ordering the pretzels. And the staff is always very sweet.

ADORE This Place!!

We eat here often as it is in walking distance! Their soft pretzels are always vegan & they usually have 2-3 different vegan combos listed per day with soup & a wrap or sandwich; their pita & bread is made on site & wonderful & the 3 bean salad is addictive!! Small, friendly & family run plus it's right on the main strip of historic Bethlehem so great people watching!

Pros: Great Prices, Home made Options Esp. Soups, Great Prices

Cons: More Vegetarian than Vegan

barely anything for vegans

After coming here, I've chosen not to order anything, as their few "healthy" choices were extremely unappetizing. I tasted the only vegan soup, carrot/ginger, and it was extremely salty, gingery, and strangely gelatinous. It was also heated in a microwave. I then thought to have an organic smoothie, and as it turns out they only use organic sweetened flavored concentrates for smoothies, as opposed to real fruit. No greens are organic and almost all entrees (salads included) are full of animal products. The outdoor seating is minimal (2 tables) and full on this beautiful day. Do not come here if your interest is primarily to have lunch outside. I did give a second star because it does have some options better than a lot of restaurants, including organic pretzels, which I won't eat as I eat gluten free but can appreciate their efforts, as well as one vegan quesadilla option made with hummus. The staff was also very nice. Overall, this place barely deserves a mention on this site, but at least you can get something if you are really hungry and not too particular.

lovely cafe menu!! hearty soups and salads too

I had the special salad - roasted Brussels sprouts with spinach and cashews and green apple. Big portion. Also had the butternut squash soup. Very filling! And finally, the vegan organic soft pretzels are amazing and hand-rolled and baked in house. They come with a side of hummus and are excellent. Everything was cooked right before our eyes. Solid place for a vegan lunch!

Cons: Unassuming outside

AMAZING buns

When we got there, there was only one woman working, but she served us quickly and was attentive. I got the 3 grain burger (corn, beans, and peppers) on a bun with lettuce and hummus. The lady made everything (including the bun for my burger) herself in a kitchen in full view of the patrons. We were able to customize our orders and the food was delicious. The bun was fluffy and doughy, and even whole wheat! My mom ordered a quesadilla with bruschetta and cheddar, and she said she really enjoyed it. All the food was filling and felt comforting.
They also have a lot of gourmet pretzels, which we were too full to try, but looked good. We ended up getting a jalapeno one for my brother to-go, and its making the car smell delicious. Will definitely be returning next time we're in the area!

Pros: friendly staff, made to order breads, healthy, vegan options
