Disappointing Experience Despite Friendly Service

Our server was kind and courteous, but unfortunately the service was extremely slow. It took over 40 minutes for our food to arrive, even though the restaurant was practically empty. A few of our drinks were also forgotten during the meal. To be fair, we were a party of eight, but the overall pace of service was still disappointing.

As a vegan, I was also underwhelmed by the menu options. There were no vegan items clearly listed on the menu, though the staff informed us that a vegan pasta could be made upon request. The dish itself lacked flavor and creativity. What stood out most was that the pasta appeared to include a Beyond Burger patty cut into haf rather than properly crumbled or incorporated into the dish, which felt like an afterthought.

Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, and unfortunately, I would not return.

Great food and experience!

I was pleasantly surprised here. They have 4 vegan options: I had the SW Baja Bowl, and it was really good. Other options are spaghetti with impossible vegan meat, and an impossible burger. All the food was really fancy, but still affordable. The restaurant itself was fancy, and the waterfront seating was nice.

Pros: Food quality, Vegan options, Restaurant atmosphere

Tofu Scramble

The Tofu Scramble was the worst thing I’ve had at any restaurant, hands down, vegan or not. I don’t know how they’re legally allowed to serve it. The only other option they had was Spaghetti, which was ok, but reminded me of a can of chef boyardee.

We went to the lake to feed ducks afterwards so it’s still a good place to go if you’re not going for the food.

Pros: Ambience, Location, Service

Cons: Tofu Scramble
