Delicious vegan pizza

Starling offer a small menu but well executed. We visited with a large group including me as a vegan, a vegetarian, a gluten free and carnists. The service was attentive but unobtrusive, prices good & food very delicious. I had the beelzebub, a stone-baked pizza with mushrooms, onions, seitan and vegan "mozarella" and some salt & pepper fries to share. #Veganuary

Pros: Relaxed atmosphere , Small but well-executed menu, Dog friendly

Something different from the usual

The pizza base sarnie are good. A good amount of choice and plant based mylks.
Never my first choice for some reason but always really enjoy it when I do go.
Sells craft beers which takes from the coffee shop feels, maybe? 🤷‍♀️

Not a great visit

We went at 2pm on a Thursday, it was relatively quiet, but the food took 45 minutes to come. We’d put an hour on the car and had to wolf our food down to get back to it.
There’s not very many actual vegan options on the menu. We had to order things without the eggs etc, but there was no relief on the price to reflect it. It was on the expensive side too. I had smashed avocado on toast (without the poached eggs) and my wife had the veggie breakfast (without egg). There wasn’t a whole lot past that.
No coffee syrups FYI.

Pros: Hmm, I’m struggling.

Cons: Slow service , Expensive , Very limited vegan options.

A great find!

This cafe looks small from the outside but has a massive amount of seating on two upper floors, I loved the ambience. They do serve meat but have a large amount of veggie and vegan options, and are happy to adapt veggie food into a vegan dish. I had smashed avocado with chilli and lime on sourdough toast, with a side of homemade baked beans and it was delicious!
