Best place in Canterbury - Edit
I cannot praise this cafe enough! They have a whole vegan menus with a huge range of options. All of them absolutely delicious. Even if something isn't listed on the menu, they are usually happy to make something up with what they have if you ask to adjust things. The owners are the loveliest people. This is my favourite place to eat in Canterbury, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The vibes are perfect, always playing great music.

I was quite excited about this place given their extensive vegan menu. Their vegan sausage tasted great but the way they heat it up(microwave?) ruins much of the texture.
Read moreI also had the vegan burger which was much more disappointing. my impression was that they just serve a Linda McCartney burger that you can buy in most supermarkets; and nothing had been done to give the burger a unique taste (barely any sauce on it). Certainly too expensive for what is was.

Just opposite HMV in town, I highly recommend this place if you’re not wanting to catch up over a coffee in a chain. Supporting local businesses is fantastic, and this place does not disappoint.

Went here for pancakes and were not disappointed!! Great food, tonnes of (default) vegan options, staff very knowledgable and very fun and friendly. Hot and cold food options to suit all times of the day - the online menu is not representative, there are even more options in real life. Good prices and you can choose to have 3 or 5 pancakes. Lovely space with gender neutral toilets and free wifi. Great playlist! Eco-conscious, uses vegware for drinks. Absolutely a must-go.
