I was in a bit of a rush and had not checked this app, but was fortunate to find Stach, which had a decent premade plant-based bacon sandwich and coffee for me. The coffee was actually too hot, but not bad for airport coffee, and the sandwich was surprisingly good, certainly for my purposes. Considering I hadn’t preordered a vegan meal for my flight back to the states, I was glad to have something like a breakfast in my belly as I boarded the plane.

Not an awful lot of vegan options but it’s good. Had a tomato and avocado sandwich which had a wait time of about 20 minutes but that’s because they make it fresh and it was totally worth it. Delicious, filling and a fresh healthy option. They also have vegan stroopwaffels which are super delicious! Highly recommend it!

Read moreWe had the bitterballen (they only had three left of a portion of six), a traditional Dutch snack. Also chicken avocado sandwich and a funky mushroom burger with frites - all vegan and really tasty.
Everything is cooked to order, so allow 15 minutes for your meal to be ready.
They also have branches in Amsterdam.

Read moreMenu was kind of confusing because the label of vegan even stood on the salmon sandwich. But they assured me that the vegan lentil burger was all vegan.
Lentil burger was super crispy!
On vacation I rate differently then I would at home. This is because of how many vegan places are around, the quality and how many options there are.

Find it on the plaza just before Arrival 2. Not that many choices at the airport but this spot offers multiple and is before check-in, which tends to be much better than searching for vegan food after check-in.

Got the "chicken" (jackfruit) sandwich after a friend separately recommended that this was specifically a veggie's best bet for food. It was good considering it's airport food, wouldn't rave about it otherwise.

This will pretty much be your last chance for vegan food as even Schiphol is pretty bad at offering options once past check in. We had the vegan chicken avocado sandwich and the pulled paddo sandwich. Both great!
