We've always loved coming to the stables and they've spent a lot on the outdoor area over the years making it a mainstay for visitors to betws-y-coed. Unfortunately, it feels like they no longer have to try too hard (particularly with the vegan menu). Very few choices (pizza and ciabatta are the same flavour and they have the obligatory vegan chilli but not much else) can't comment on the food quality, because we didn't feel like anything on the menu. Still great for a pint (if you are happy spending over £6 for one) but disappointing on the vegan menu front.

Stopped for a coffee here - a couple of vegan options on the menu and alternative milks (although it didn’t list which ones on the menu that I could see).

Staff were really friendly and checked the allergen guide for a few items to see if they were SFV. Hot and tasty food. Was a perfect meal after a hike up Sonwdon.

A Few Vegan Options - Edit
They have just a few vegan options here, but I appreciate the effort. The pizza and panini seem to be the same toppings, then there’s a big bowl of chili and rice which was good, and a supersalad, which seemed a bit small for the price but had lots of good stuff in it.
