Great food and really friendly service! - Edit
We had several traditional starters, which were pretty good. The service was really nice and the atmosphere was just like what we expected from a greek tavern.

Good food but the place needs a bit of cleaning - Edit
Owner was friendly and we had the stuffed veggies plus the lentil stew. The stew was excellent, the stuffed veggies also quite good. Having said that we were hoping the hygiene in the kitchen was better than in the restaurant/customer area... It was dusty everywhere, not tidy, quite worn down and cats around on top of that.

Great mom and pop restaurant - Edit
This is a wonderful mom and pop restaurant located near Harbor station. The owners are absolutely wonderful. Just let them know your dietary lifestyle and they will point you in the right direction. I had the traditional Yaminsta dish with lentil stew and hummus. Delicious meal.

Nice veggie lunch - Edit
For lunch in this nice place I had a pitta halloumi (big😃with tomato, cucumber and greens. My hubbie had an omelet also with halloumi. It came with fries and a green salad. We also had some nice home made tzatziki (to dip the fries in ;-)). The waitress was very friendly and accurate. Another Veggie friendly place found in Paphos!

Was so happy to find this place! Was having such a struggle to find authentic Cypriot food that was vegan but here they served a great selection. Went for the "village special" which had 4 different plates along with hummus, pitta, olives and salad. The plates just kept coming!

Cute cypriotic "cat" restaurant - Edit
One of many restaurants in Cyprus where you can see many cats (which are not interested in your vegan dish). Cosy like home and the staff (members of family) are nice and vegan friendly. I've got yemista (traditional Greek vegan dish), but on my taste it was too sour.
Read morePros: Cats! (if you like cats), You can try vegan Cyprus specialities, Friendly family that owns restaurant
Cons: Just few vegan options (it's a steak and fish hous

The best places are tucked away... - Edit
As a family of vegetarians, pescitarians and vegans we were delighted to find this place. The place was family-run and the service was exceptional. The food was delicious- we ordered the vegan meze which consisted of olives, 5 different cypriot dishes (beans/lentils/chickpeas), pitta bread, hummous etc which was very tasty. The portion sizes are very generous so we couldn't even manage to finish our plates. The prices are more than reasonable.

great find in meat laden Cyprus - Edit
Most restaurants in Kato Paphos are meat and potatoes. We were thrilled to find proprieters who care about sharing local Cypriot vegetable dishes. It's also inexpensive. We shared the 10 euro "village special" which included 4 vegetable/bean sides, salad, pitta, hummus, tatsiski(sp), olives, etc.and were full. The owners, Chris and Gill, are very friendly and committed to serving fresh food and offer to make the special, and other dishes, vegan. It is located behind Debenhams. We visited twice and would definitely return if we were in Paphos.
Read moreI wrote the above in late 2015. We returned to Paphos in 2017 and the food contines to be high quality (this time we ate here 5x). The price has increased to 12 euros but still a great deal. We love this place. Don't miss it! Note: Debenhams is now closed. Just look for St. Paul's Pillar ruins/ church.
