Fairytale find in the forest 💚

What a perfect place to find some truly fabulous vegan food. The walk there is beautiful and well worth the effort. We had an amazing bowl of cauliflower and broccoli Dahl with a gluten free brown roll with mango chutney and one of the best matcha oat mylk lattes ever! All surrounded by trees in a beautiful garden with peacocks wandering around, also plenty of indoor seating. Super friendly staff and very welcoming. Could not fault the service or food.

Pros: Very tasty vegan cauliflower Dahl and tea, Super friendly staff with vegan on menu. , Beautiful walk and surroundings.

Cons: Maybe more options please.

Gorgeous woodland find

The waterfall is my stepdaughter’s favourite place in the world so we had to visit. After a beautiful walk it was wonderful to find a welcome stop before setting off to see it. We had apricot flapjacks and coffee, with almond or oat milks 60p extra (something I begrudge many places but not here). After a further walk we came back and shared a soup and goulash (which was absolutely scrumptious) with chunky bread and Vitalite spread.
We came early February so it was lovely and cosy and not too busy. They’re open all year, except Christmas Day. They always have vegan options of hot food and cakes.

Pros: Really tasty food, Welcome find in a remote location, Magical

Cons: Not fully vegan, I don’t live nearer

Good selection but not cheap

A really lovely place: waterfall, nature trail, lovely gift shop and cafe with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The prices are a little steep, but there is nothing stopping you taking a picnic. It’s well worth a visit but is a bit of a yomp. Decent footwear recommended. Flip flops for the falls. Not suitable for buggies or those with mobility issues.

Love this cafe

This cafe was such a find! It’s about a 20 minute walk from the car park through woodland and along a river. We had the best vegan chocolate cake that I’ve ever had! There were three vegan meal options, each was £9.95 and sounded great although we weren’t hungry enough to try any of them. The cafe is in woodland next to a waterfall that you can pay to access and is really beautiful. Highly recommend!

Pros: Vegan selection , Quality of cakes, Coffee
