Delicious soup

We visited this small cafe while we were on our few days holiday, First time we visited we got a vegan rocky road which was yummy & quite big 😅 Then we went back today for our breakfast, I got lentil & carrot soup with a roll, Which was delicious 😋 I also got a caramel oat latte 👌🏻 The cafe is also dog friendly & the staff are so good with dogs ❤️

No vegan options

Visited today as we stopped over on a tour. Unfortunately the only vegan option they had was christmas mince pies. No other pastries, sandwiches or cakes. Disappointing! Maybe they only offer now and then.

Cons: Not many vegan options

Fab Find

We were so pleased to find several clear vegan options at this little cafe in a beautiful location. The vegan sausage sandwiches were really good for breakfast. Lovely to sit outside.

Pros: Several vegan options, sweet and savoury, Great location

Good pasty

Stopped in on our walk and had a pasty. Can’t complain; was one of the better vegan pasties I’ve had.

Nice little stop

We stopped here before climbing Conic Hill - had a few vegan options Inc soup, a chicpea curry pie, Cornish pasty, sausage roll and rocky road cake . Also had sorbet which could have been vegan.

Nice friendly staff and bustling atmosphere even out of season.

Charmin‘ wee café with vegan options

Loved having a late breakfast at this wee café. I’ve treated myself to a delicious smoothie and vegetable toastie. They sell snacks for takeout as well. Enjoy!

Can’t not stop

A must stop on your way either on the West Highlands Way or a trip up to Conic Hill.
A good selection of vegan cakes and even vegan baps!
Great to try the locally roasted coffee too, I found it was very smooth and was very creamy with oat milk.

Our drinks came quickly but we did see others waiting a while, it’s a small place with lots of passing trade so of course it can get busy.

Pros: Multiple vegan cake choices, Alternative milks , Local coffee

Cons: Busy, small

Nice quaint coffee shop

I got the veg toastie and I think it was the only option at the time?they roast their own coffee which was very nice. Lovely treat at the foot of Conic Hill. They also sell reusable coffee mugs and other souvenir trinkets.

great coffe in a lovely location

Such a lovely place in a tiny, tiny town - in a big city this place wouldn't be anything special, but given how remote this is, some vegan-labelled food options and some great coffee are more than to be expected. Definitely come here after you're done walking in Balmaha or Rowardennan!
