Do not Go there

I was very disappointed about St. James Café. I've been there at 12 o'clock and wanted to order the vegan breakfast. But breakfast ist served only until 11:30. Most cafes however serve breakfast as brunch until afternoon. I ordered the vegan burger instead. The burger wasn't large but expensive. The vegan patty was very tasty but the rest of the burger and fries weren't good. I also ordered a cappuccino with oat milk. That one came with soy milk instead without informing me before. The coffee wasn't tasty. When I was at St. James Café the gentlemen's toilet was out of order and there has been only one toilet for disabled which men could use. But there was no toilet paper. In addition to all this a pigeon was walking around in the café. I guess the café is a kind of mass production location with focus in making money. I wouldn't recommend visiting St. James Café.

Pleasant location and outlook

Informal lunch place but we had hot food to order and a nice place to sit; I had a wild mushroom risotto which was delicious but may have had butter in it (labelling v and vg does not seem consistent across the board 😕)

Not worth it

We had lunch here, the menu had two vegan options, had a really expensive hot dog. Would not go back even to the location was nice …

Vegan dishes and desserts

Packed vegan sandwiches with full description of ingredients. It was important for me. And also there were marked vegan cakes on counter, I didn't need to ask. I enjoyed what I ate.

Pros: Vegan options in menu ., Prepared and packed sandwiches inside., Marked vegan cakes on counter.

Tasty cinnamon scroll doughnut

A great atmosphere in the park, a nice place to have a snack or just coffee with a vegan dessert. The vegan cinnamon scroll doughnut was delicious!
