I liked this place for a casual dinner. Friendly staff and decent food. Good menu options for vegans.

St Andrean’ Bevs

Only popped in for a couple of local bevs. All beers are vegan and no isinglass or animal products are used unless otherwise stated for a particular brew like a milk stout. Nice place with plenty of seating inside and a patio on the street. Absolutely cracking.

Pros: Vegan beer, Decent prices , Locally brewed

Great craft beer with good pub food

Scotland's craft beer scene is growing, but it is still not easy to find good craft beer if you're touring around. This place has great craft beer offerings, a fun pub vibe, and good food (I had the vegetarian chili), and is a worthwhile visit in St. Andrews.

Pros: Great craft beer, Good veggie pub food, Fun pub vibe

Cons: Not enough vegan/veggie options, Can get a bit loud

Presently surprised

I'd give three and a half stars if I could.
I was unsure when I first saw the menu as the only vegan options seemed to be healthy 'bowl food' and I was worried it would just be raw veg and grains.
I chose the Asian bowl which turned out to be lovely. It was stir fried veg in a nice soy ginger type sauce. It could have done with some rice noodles or soba to make it more of a meal but overall I was pretty happy. Nice to have a change from burgers / pasta etc.

Pros: Nice relaxed atmosphere in bar area
