Okay food and poor service - Edit
As someone who grew up in Coimbatore, I’ve been to Annapoorna multiple times. It is a staple for South Indian food for anyone living in the city. They serve really good dosas and filter coffee. Note that they don’t advertise any vegan options, all the food is vegetarian and may contain milk products.
Read moreThe quality of food and service has declined significantly over the last few years. On my last visit, it took forever for the food to come out and the food tasted a bit stale. Also general cleanliness was poor. It could have been a one off experience but others have had similar experiences. Would recommend Anandhaas over Annapoorna for anyone looking for good authentic vegetarian South Indian food.
