Great pizza; great service - Edit
I haven't had a chance to eat at an all-vegan pizza place yet anywhere, but SQZBX (short for Squeezebox) was a delicious choice when eating out with family on vacation. SQZBX makes wonderful vegan pizzas with all sorts of toppings, and our server was friendly and attentive after a brief wait due to a busy Friday night.
Read moreWe ordered the garlic knots with marinara as an appetizer - pretty good but a little chewy. For pizzas, I ordered the Fungal Jungle with vegan cheese and a Veggie with vegan cheese. I requested half of the Veggie to ONLY have red onion and pineapple, and they got it right on the first try. The pizzas were both awesome, but I was really expecting more mushrooms on the Fungal Jungle (especially since the Veggie seemed *loaded* with veggies).
My brother and SIL ordered a "Flight of Six" and said that only one was really any better that your typical brewery beer. 🤷♀️ No worries here, though, since my kids and I don't drink alcohol. 😛
As far as price, it's a little expensive but comparable to similar pizza joints I've visited in several different states. Given the huge variety in vegan choices, great service, and good atmosphere, I'd definitely come back again if I'm ever in the area.

This is a cute place with a lovely staff. The vegan pizza was ok. It was clearly marked on the menu which was nice and the cheese was good. But it was a little dry over all and limited options. I also got their caprise sandwich to go and swapped cow cheese for vegan cheese. It was good but small for the price.

New to Hot Springs and vegan options are few and far between. Loved the food and vibe at SQZBX. Definitely going to be a regular stop for us. Try the Vegan Dream or build your own.

They have a vegan pizza on their gluten free menu but when I asked, they told me the gluten free dough contains honey. They said “some vegans eat honey” which is not really true. It made me skeptical. Their normal dough is vegan for sure and they have vegan cheese. Their balsamic salad dressing is vegan.

I got the small vegan pizza. It was good. I suspect they use Daiya cheese. I didn’t go inside because I had my dog. They don’t have outdoor seating.

This place is amazing! We got the garlic knots and vegan dream pizza and both were excellent! They loaded the pizza with toppings! Staff was lovely and the atmosphere was perfect! Highly recommend!

Eclectic pizzas & brews in old Hot Springs. The large Vegan Dream pizza easily fed 4 adults. It was cheezy, flavorful and yummy. Garlic knots with a cup of thick marinara sauce hit the spot. They brew their own beer here, too. Heard they're bringing back live music. Check it out.
