Love, love, LOVE!

Being the only vegan restaurant within a 200 mile radius (that I'm aware of) certainly has its advantages, but Squeaker's is AWESOME for so many reasons! The staff is incredible - friendly, down-to-earth, and always very helpful. Their food is excellent, too! I would love a wider selection and more varied menu, but the selections they do have are wonderful :) I love to shop after I eat, too. They have products there that I've never seen, even in LA or NYC. I wish I could pack this place up and take them everywhere I go!

Pros: EVERYTHING!

Cons: I can't fit the place in a suitcase

VERY reasonably priced!!!

I recently started Graduate school in Bowling Green State University, and I was so happy to find Squeakers on Happy Cow. I was very happy to see that not only is the food excellent, but it's reasonably priced as well. Everything is vegan, and most sandwiches are around $5 including chips or carrot sticks. I love their Reuben, as well as the peanut tofu wrap. They have excellent chili and good seasonal soups. Their desserts are seriously to DIE for (The new owner told me he bought the restaurant just to get the carrot cake recipe)!!!! The owner is a cool guy who runs the place, and they also have open mic night on Thursdays.
I don't mind the fact that sometimes the food comes at a slower pace, because most of the time I am there I am studying!

Pros: Tasty food!, reasonably priced, super friendly staff

Cons: perhaps a tad slow, not "lovely" interior

Fantastic food, knowledgeable staff, great prices!

I fell in love with Squeaker's a few years ago and have been going back ever since. Both the cafe and the store offer a wide variety of options at very affordable prices. My favorite menu items are the avocado bagel, grilled tofu wrap, and cashew chickett salad. The smoothies are also fantastic. Portions are generous, and the staff (especially Heather) are helpful and friendly. We recently brought a group of 12 to the cafe for my birthday; most of them having never eaten at a vegetarian restaurant before. I called the day before to let the staff know, and our meals were prepared promptly and were, as usual, absolutely delicious. My non-vegetarian friends loved it!

Pros: Delicious food, Lots of variety, Helpful, friendly service

Good Value

Squeaker's is a relatively inexpensive vegan cafe. I love the riblet sandwich, taco salad, the chicken parmesan, and the organic fruit smoothies. The soups are a little too "salt of the earth" for me--they often have the aftertaste of what can only be described as soil.

Sometimes, but not usually, the food is undercooked, leaving it cold in the center and there is usually only one person working at a time, making service slightly slow for food and exceptionally slow for drinks (especially when they don't give you ice).

However, when all goes well, a meal at Squeaker's is an amazing experience.

Pros: Value, Variety, Healthy food

Cons: Slow service at times, Occas. cold food
