Worth considering for sure

At a glance the menu doesn’t look all that great for vegans but there are a few options. The veggie masala brunch, while not my usual sort of breakfast dish, was absolutely delicious. One to consider if you’re after a healthier breakie maybe. Huge sourdough for the avo! Good selection of vegan cakes too. We stuffed ourselves. Nice coffee also.

Terrible Waiting Times

I used to love visiting Square Peg. The last two times I have visited there has been a hour wait for toast. I have gone mid week and on a Saturday - the wait time is the same.

I think there is some fundamentally wrong if I business cannot serve toast within a hour. Whilst the staff are nice it is not worth waiting an hour to be served food. It makes it impossible to visit during your lunch break.

The vegan menu is not extensive.

Pros: Food is nice

Cons: No parking , An hour wait for food, Meat is propped up against vegan options

Food and Beverage at its best

This well organized not for profit establishment is a credit to the food and beverage industry.

The owner's and staff's dedication is palpable.

We had an astonishingly tasty breakfast there yesterday. The vegan Masala feast was perfectly balanced on both a nutritional and flavoursome front. Portion sizes are abundant.

The high standards of coffee on offer also reflects the way the humans running Square Peg view their punters, by bringing a knowledgeable and enthusiastic approach to the cafe experience.

And yeah, the vegan donuts! Go there just for the donuts.

Pros: service, breakfast, donuts

Best breakfast (maybe ever)

Loved the masala breakfast here, the delicious vegan doughnut and the great coffee. Very impressed with the vegan offerings and the friendly atmosphere. I’d come back to Swansea just to eat here again.

Incredible!

Super friendly staff, amazing coffee and the food options were beyond tasty. They had Indian infused brunch options which made the typical brunch different and yummy, also amazing portion sizes. Lovely choices of cakes and alternative milks too!

Pros: Lots of options, Great Indian twist, Solid portions and mega fresh food

Cons: Busy, make sure you book!

Delicious food

Cosy cafe with good vegan options. We had the Vegan masala nann brunch (huge) and vegan garden masala bowl with karma kola, followed by fruity flapjacks and oat flat whites. Absolutely delicious would 100% recommend.

Pros: Tasty options

Cons: Service was a little slow but looks like there , were only two serving

Best Vegan Brunch

Clearly labeled vegan and vegetarian options. Staff is very nice about substitutions. The food is tasty and they allow dogs at least in the Sketty location.

Pros: Dog friendly

Great coffee, great food, great staff

Speciality coffee, plenty of different plant milks and great vegan food options. Can get busy at weekends but well worth a visit. The staff know their stuff and are always super friendly.

Best non profit Cafe in town.

Great choice of teas and coffees with great baristas.
Small but good range of vegan food.
All profits split between a school in Nigeria and Zac's Place, a local homeless charity.
Well worth a visit or five.

Ahead of the times

I have loved this fab place since it opened. Why wouldn’t you chose to spend your hard earned cash somewhere that serves great coffee using a variety of plant milks, has vegan option AND is a social enterprise? Love this place and what they do.

Pros: Vegan cakes, Plant milks , Healthy options

lovely little find

Vegan options were clear, and were also explained to me that most things could be made vegan like swapping out one of the toppings. The prices were fair and they also put back some of their profits in to the community to help rough sleepers in Swansea at Zaks place. Brilliant cause to be helping. Would come again

Pros: good vegan options, give back to the community, chilled vibe

Cons: not fully vegan
