Decent - Edit
Ok, so -
Read moreI really wanted to try most of their stuff.
After only ordering vegan food I automatically got a vegan couvert - a vegan bread roll with oil and sea salt instead of butter. That was very lovely.
I started off with the "Sushi van aubergine" (15,50€) which is just crazy expensive for what it is. It's tasty, definitely, but I don't get the price or the fact why it's swimming in 50ml flavour neutral oil... unnecessary calories. The second starter were the "Seaweed kroketjes", I was able to get only 2 instead of 5 for a cheaper price and to have some space for the other food left. These were amazing too.
Then, when I was done, my empty plates were left infront of me for ~15 minutes, while the waitress was talking to a relative of hers, although she watched me. Then I raised my voice and asked if my main course was coming, but of course it wasn't, because they only started preparing it as soon as my starter plates came back to the kitchen. So in total between arrival of starter and main dish an entire hours passed by, which they apologised for, but could've easily been prevented and was very very upsetting. I literally got hungry again.
I went for the "Gevulde zoete aardappel" (20,50€) and it was so unbelievably bad. I'm so sorry, but I used a ton of salt, pepper, and even asked for ketchup (had to pay extra, although they only had curry ketchup) to somehow save this dish I had to sell an organ for to afford. The thick potato was completely unseasoned and the couscous had no flavour at all. I don't think the person that invented this knew what they were doing at all.
I finished off with the "Vegan Dame Blanche", which I originally came for. The ice cream is icy, flavourless, theres no whipped cream and the chocolate sauce had a strange taste to it. It's also assembled very weirdly.
At the end of the day, was it worth it to pay 51€ to fill 1 person? Absolutely not. Was it still interesting to try the options? I guess.
If you go there, I recommend either trying the "Couscous Salade" or filling up on the starters. At least the waitresses are kind

Lekker!! - Edit
