Fresh tasting and constantly changing - Edit
Menu changes every season, it was the spring 2024 menu when I went, I had the chickpea onion and sweetcorn sandwich and was really pleasantly surprised it tasted great and really fresh. Upon asking the chips were also vegan and made a great side.

Disappointing vegan menu, but clean facilities and dog friendly - Edit
We visited today after a long walk on Cannock chase. It is conveniently placed and we were looking forward to a warm drink and something to eat . It was late morning so hoping for something brunch wise, however only breakfast option was toast! We asked for vegan choices, quite limited not offered separate menu as previous reviewer. My husband, none vegan, very happy with his sausage, bacon and mushroom sandwich. I choose homemade oatcake with mushroom and tomato filling served with side salad. Portions very generous and coffee delicious. (Non dairy milk an extra charge, we choose to take black).
Read moreWe sat outside with our dog, but there are huts which accommodate dogs if it was raining. Staff friendly, facilities very clean including toilets.
