This place shouldn’t even be listed here

Always out of mock meat and only 10 or so vegetarian items listed. The hostess had no idea what vegan means.

Pros: Prices are reasonable

Cons: Never have mock meat. Vegetables or tofu only. , Limited options, Can’t be sure if they are actually vegan dishes

Hit-or-miss

Often out of ingredients, so if you are flexible you'll be fine. If you really want what they printed on the menu, call ahead.
Although staff isn't the best. I ordered vegan takeout. Ensured it was vegan on the phone. I didn't know it came with a soup. When I got back to the office... it was port wontons.
For good Asian food, there are many, many better options in the area. But if you're stuck in North Hills and need a bite and aren't picky about getting what you really want or not, then give them a try!

Pros: Location

Cons: Out of menu items, Staff, Lack of attention to order details

Reliable!

Quick, and nice staff! They have vegan soups and other options. I always go for the sushi.

Lunch at Spring Roll

My daughter and I had lunch here today. We ordered the tofu & veggies and the General Tao soy gluten. They did not have the soy gluten and substituted tofu. We both opted for salad- nothing special - iceberg lettuce, carrot, red cabbage with ginger dressing. The entree plate had large scoop of brown rice, a fried cabbage filled spring roll and decent amount of the main entree. Baby bok choy mushrooms, scallions, thin strips is crisy tofu in light sauce for the tofu & veggie. The General Tao had cubes of battered fried tofu, fresh broccoli, onions in a mild brown sauce (I did not want spicy). For $8.99 you receive a large portion of well cooked fresh veggies , tofu. Not a large selection of meatless options, but in area know for meat & BBQ, this was a welcomed stop for lunch.

Pros: Meatless options, Well prepared, Fresh vegetables

Cons: Limited Veg options, No option for a meatless soup

No faux meat

Heads up, said they have been out of faux meat for three months so hedge your expectations on that.

Manager was not there

We've had a lot of good meals here, while somewhat inconsistent. They have different vegan faux meats on the menu although they aren't always all available. This week they had soy gluten back on the menu, so I ordered it. It was inedible. I never send food back but I couldn't even swallow this. I asked if they could remake it with tofu. The waiter said yes and that the meal would be comped. He told me he put the order in and we wait. We wait like 45 minutes and he brings the check. Our kids are tired at this point so I ask for the food to go. He says what? I say the tofu. He comes back with a little to-go container of fried tofu, no sauce, no veggies. He claims this is all his manager will allow, meanwhile the manager won't come out to talk to us. Needless to say we will never eat there again. We should have known something was wrong when we ordered spring rolls as an app and they came out a minute later. My husband asked if they had a bowl of hot spring rolls sitting back there. Seems like some cheapskate doesn't want to waste product like unwanted apps or old freeze-dried soy gluten sitting in the back of the freezer.

Pros: Food is usually great

Cons: Faux meats are not always available, Some faux meats are great, others not at all

terrible food

No flavor and lack of effort put into making dishes. If you like less than mediocre Asian food this is the spot for you!

Pan Asian Cuisine.

This resturant serves nice appetizers, and specializes in mock meat. You get well flavored sauce and a lot of crunchy vegetables mixed into your dish as a plus. They have about 5 specialized vegetarian selections.

Pros: good value, excellent food , friendly staff

Huge Selection of Vegetarian menu items

There's a lot to choose from at this restaurant. The atmosphere is so-so.. but the service is good. They have booths and tables. It's a bit dark in there.. makes it difficult to read the menu. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu items. The food is good. It's not really high-class, and the prices are about what you'd expect for the North Hills area. Something is missing, though, and I can't quite figure out how to verbalize it.... maybe somebody else would have some more insight.

Pros: selection, location, service

Cons: atmosphere, prices, night-clubby looking
