Favourite spot in Lanta - Edit
So happy we came here, the owner understands what vegan is and the food is full of flavour, tried the pad see ew which was delicious, Tom yum and Penang curry, also got the fried spring rolls and mango sticky rice, good pricing and you get complimentary water too.

Vegetarian menu! - Edit
They have an extensive vegetarian menu and I was able to request that items be made vegan. The food was so tasty! They even had soy milk for the milkshakes.

Large vegetarian menu - Edit
Very big separate vegetarian menu that can be adapted to be vegan. Just be warned, my partner ordered the Penang friend rice with tofu, and it was served with a side of fish sauce!! Luckily the dish didn’t contain fish sauce, it was just on the side. Other then that, very tasty food!

5 star restaurant with a large vegetarian menu - Edit
Unfortunately, HappyCow doesn't allow 5 star reviews for restaurants that serve meat.
Read moreSpring Rolls has a large vegetarian menu. I ate here 10 to 20 times and there was only one dish I didn't like. Many of the dishes come with more vegetables than other nearby restaurants, so the food feels a bit healthier.
I appreciated how the staff remember to ask about spice levels and whether you're okay with eggs.
They're cash only, and only have 2-3 employees so wait times can be over 30 minutes if they're busy. But service is fine if you eat a little earlier or later than other people. To save time, you can order takeaway on WhatsApp, but they're often short on staff so sometimes they don't notice their phone.
Pros: Vegetarian options, Attentive to customer preferences
Cons: Service is sometimes slow

First time great afterward only ok… - Edit
Edit: back after over a year and the Penang curry was great. Then I ordered a Massaman - did not look or taste like Massaman
Read moreHad a weird aftertaste and no peanuts whatsoever. The lady then just said sorry and didn’t really show interest at all.
Prices are 100 thb each dish (appetizers and main vegan ones)

Love this place! What a hidden gem
- free drinking water
- good prices
- whole veggie Menü! Everything mostly 80 thb
- friendly and happy service
- everything is freshly made!
- loved the taste of the Penang curry 🍛
- I ordered the stir fry cashew nut and it was too much sugar and tamatoes with their juice so more like sweet and sour (wouldn’t order again.)
To be continued! Thanks for the best food

- red curry amazing

Okay - Edit
Lots of option was a bonus, I just ordered the wrong thing. The pad ki Mao had a really strange taste to it, I don’t know whether this was the dish or the restaurant. My friend ordered the curry fried rice and said it was okay. Spring rolls were great though!

We went there yesterday, 3 people, and ordered a bunch of things from the menu. Some of them were OK and the others was not good at all.

The only place to eat on Koh Lanta - Edit
Spring rolls Lanta is probably the best place to go for vegan options on the whole of Koh Lanta. They have a whole menu devoted to vegetarian items, however, most are vegan and you can simply ask and they will accommodate for vegan as they are aware of the diet.
Read moreThe staff were so nice and friendly and they asked what spice you like (I limited to myself to a "little" spice, but I think it wasn't spicy enough, next time I will go all out!).
Of course, as the name implies, you have to try their spring rolls!
Note: HappyCow only allowed me to give this place 4 stars because they serve non-vegetarian, but believe me when I say, even compared to the other choices in Koh Lanta, this is 5 stars no doubt!
Pros: A whole menu devoted to vegetarian/vegan, Friendly staff

The biggest vegan option in Lanta - Edit
They have a huge full vegan menu. The owner is incredibly sweet, she recommends dishes and explains everything in detail. She knows exactly what vegan means and adapts vegetarian dishes and is very proud of her vegan rice noodles! The food is very tasty, lots of variety and very cheap. We’ve been here every day of the week. Totally recommended. They don’t have more reviews because they didnt know Happy Cow existed until one month ago but you can check them on Google.

Huge separate vegetarian menu - Edit
Easy to find, on the main road. Nice lady. Separate vegetarian menu with many pages of your favourite Thai dishes. Good prices. On Google maps, it has all 5 star reviews. Cooking classes are available, too. There's a friendly ginger cat as well.
Read moreI like that there are both fresh and fried spring rolls, and both fresh and fried papaya salads.
Photos: I had fresh spring rolls, red curry with steamed rice, a crispy papaya 'salad', and a fruit shake.
