What a darling little restaurant with one of the best vegan dishes we’ve ever had. Included TWO proteins: tofu and white beans. The lentil baba ganoush appetizer was also delicious. The salad too - dressing was vegan.

There are 4 vegan options at this restaurant, 1 being a dessert and they were all delicious! It is tough getting a quality vegan meal in Tahoe but Spoon went above and beyond to create some delicious dishes.
Read moreThe cauliflower appetizer was yummy as it came with a robust flavor of seasonings and dips. The Tofu bowl as well was loaded with a robust amount of seasonings, sauces, and flavor while remaining filling. The veggies with scallion oil was a great side as well.
The owner of this place makes a concerned effort that there is something for vegans on this menu that is worth the price point and tastebuds instead of giving some half baked plate with high prices. If you are in Northern Tahoe, definitely check this place out as it stands out compared to other local options.
P.S: Make a reservation because they get booked up quick, especially in the winter.
