Spirit offers a various buffet with lots of different tastes and textures. Plate on photo was €13,60.
Read moreVisited Spirit on the day of the Rotterdam Marathon, place was packed. Restaurant will be more peaceful on other days of the year I guess 😜. A grocery shop with many organic and bio products is located next to the restaurant and is worth a visit.

Fresh, tasty, healthy and mostly vegan. Spirit has been offering excellent buffets for years. It’s hard not to get too greedy when choosing between all these delicious options.

Got a little bit of everything - Edit
We grabbed a plate and were able to put a few bites of each vegan option plus a bowl of the vegan dessert options from the buffet table. The cost was about $20 which we found mostly fair. Everything was tasty, and it was a good variety ranging from fresh salads to tempura to "meaty" dishes. The desserts in the case looked good as well but sadly we didn't try.

I've been coming here for years now, practically lived here when I still lived in Rotterdam. So many great products to choose from, it's impossible to leave here unsatisfied. If you only have one night to dine in Rotterdam, I suggest you go here!

Spirit is a buffet-style restaurant where you pay for the weight of your food, rather than for separate meals. The food is very varied and it's very clear which offers are vegan (I'd say 80-90% of the entire buffet is vegan). All options are delicious and there's the possibility to fill a take-out container if you don't have time to dine in.

Spirit is located in a small sustainability friendly mall and is open quite long. If you take food away it’s cheaper and the staff is friendly. You pay the weight and the buffet has a nice variety.

Spirit is a nice place with more than 50 veg dishes. Most of them are full vegan. It is a buffet where you can choose everything you like. For me as a quite new vegan, it is amazing because you can try everything you like.

Came back here recently. My first visit was more than 5 years ago and I loved it back then and am still loving it today. The majority of the buffet is vegan (some things are only vegetarian), everything is clearly labeled and it’s so nice to have such a great choice. There’s a vegan option for everything (bread, sauces, dips, ice cream, cakes, mains, sides, salads, soups) and I really like that the dishes are very tasty. Pay per weight (not cheap but worth it and it does reflect the quality of food). If I had to recommend one thing then it’s the vegan chocolate mousse!

I did enjoy the variety of choices but in the end it wasn't as wow as I hoped. Most food was very salty and the flavours were all quite similar. It was still tasty and is an interesting concept to try.

Pay per weight model. Very easily you can get to 15-20€ if you completely fill your plate. So careful. If you're on budget i would go and weight multiple times just to make sure you're not paying more than you want. Apart from this, food is delicious. I was expecting sushi as part of asian but was more my confusion than anything else
