This used to be my favorite place. Not sure what happened. Maybe new owners or management but it’s just not the same. The food has progressively gotten worse. And the service staff is friendly but they seem to do a lot of walking around and not tending to patrons in a timely manner. This whole thing is very disappointing to me because it used to be my favorite. Very unfortunate

This was the first place we visited during a short trip to Fort Worth, and it did not disappoint. We went for lunch and ate outside during a nice day. The staff were very friendly and inviting, and the food was a hit with us. I got a combination of small plates/sides, including mac & cheese, broccoli, a breakfast taco and a pancake, and throughly enjoyed it all. The pancake was buttery, light and fluffy and was enhanced by the agave served with it, the breakfast taco was savory and flavorful, and the mac was rich and creamy. My husband ordered the Lumberjack plate with biscuits and gravy, tofu scramble and breakfast sausage, and he cleaned his plate. The biscuits were light and airy, and the rich, thick gravy was a great contrast to them. We finished with a chocolate milkshake that was the perfect way to wrap up a great meal. We left happy and extremely full (with leftovers).

I’ve gone here 4-5 times this past month and stopped going. The reason why was because I realized I could make some of their dishes at home for cheaper. Also, why are their shake $8? I’ve ordered it 3 times and 1/3 times they filled it all the way but the other two times they scammed me. You don’t even get a lot for $8! Also, there have been 3 occasions where I have bitten into the food and I’ve gotten some weird unknown taste or some piece that I’m not sure where it came from. But either way, I understood that their staff is young hip people and they kinda don’t care. Their food is good but there’s one plate that I highly do not recommend and it’s the high protein bowl. It's about $9 and I believe it should be $5. The leaf mix was old and the quinoa and beans were mushed. I threw it away.

I ordered the jerk sandwich and my friend had the Jr Nachos. I am never a fan of nachos, mainly because they get smooshy midway through eating them. This happened, but this is the nature of nachos. I did sample and the sauces and flavors are delicious chips were crunchy until they succumbed to being nachos and got soggy. My jerk sandwich was everything I was hoping for plus the word “Jerk” was spelled out on my bun. The sauce was not too hot but full of flavor, the grilled pineapples sweetness provided a nice balance. Pickles were crunchy and the potato salad while creamy has never been my favorite this was delicious. I had it with an IPA which was perfect.
Funny note in conversation I mentioned I wished they were closer to home. Of course being from SoCal came up and the staff had been told previously told that they were compared to veggi grill. Do not believe this! They are miles ahead of veggie grill there is no comparison this way place is amazing and veggie grill is ok if you are at a shopping center and it’s the only option.

We've been going to Spiral for years, and they are just that one comfort food spot you can always count on. Sundays when we don't feel like cooking, road trip to-go stock when we aren't sure sure how much vegan food we will find out of town, dinner with skeptical non-vegans. We love the nachos, sandwiches, breakfast plates and everything in between.

Amazing Gluten Free Vegan Brunch - Edit
I love how everything is vegan here!! It makes ordering so easy! They also have plenty of gluten free options. Their Buffalo Nachos are to die for!!! My boyfriend got the Chocolate Chip Gluten Free Pancakes and they were phenomenal! I ordered a almond milk latte and that was a perfect finale for the meal. Our server Maria was very helpful with recommendations and ensured that our meal came out perfectly and with all dietary restrictions accounted for. She also helped us get a comfortable booth by the window, even though their requirement for booth seating is to call to make a reservation 2 hours in advance. I highly recommend this place! And ask for Maria to be your server, she is excellent!

We tried Spiral Diner in Fort Worth, TX. for the first time, earlier this week. Omg y'all everything was soooo delicious 😋. I had their frito pie and I'm still craving some days later. My Hubby ordered the Cashew Quinoa Cheeseburger, it was so good we ordered a second to take home. My son was so excited to see the hot dog choices - he didn't even notice the Star Wars themed dessert on the menu 😉 Next time I have to save room for that dessert! The Diner had everything from ice cream and shakes, to cookies and pie. The Staff was incredible, super sweet, knowledgeable, and eager to serve. The Diner itself, was really cute and clean. We loved the decor. I can't wait to go back 💜

One of my favorite vegan restaurants and trust me, I’ve been to dozens all over the world!! I’ve been here with so many non vegans and they are ALWAYS highly impressed by the taste and options!! I love the atmosphere and inclusivity of the place!! Their custom cakes are to die for (as is everything they sell). The nachos supremo and grilled portobello quesadillas are a must try!!

We love visiting Spiral Diner! Brunch is awesome on the weekends, my wife can never get enough of their GIANT nacho plate (we usually take home the leftovers for another meal!) And, we usually grab a couple of baked treats for desert later.
