Spicy Vegan Options

Wow!
I’ve been to a few Indian style restaurants and this was definitely good. I had the vegetable vindaloo and vegetable samosa for appetizers. I didn’t get any drinks.

I can say I can handle my spicy food to some degree but this food tasted legit. At first I was okay with it, but by the time I got two thirds done with my vindaloo I started to really feel it and getting full. They give you a bowl of rice to share with your table. We did ask for a second bowl. The vegetables were cooked well and went well with the dish. I liked how they were small enough for bite sizes because when the dish is fresh, you might burn your mouth. So be careful.

The samosas were good as well. I thought the sauce it came with was nice, but not really something I was into. Still great overall.

Also went during Valentine’s Day weekend and they gave a free dessert. I assumed the one they gave the table wasn’t vegan but I asked to make sure. One of the waiters confirmed it did have dairy. When he left and came back, he mentioned they are making a quick dessert for me. I believe it was sweet potato in the shape of a heart. The thought was kind and I appreciate it since it was unexpected.

Delicious Local Vegan Option

They have an entire section of the menu dedicated to vegan options - a game changer for this mixed carnivore/vegan family. Portion sizes are large and flavorful, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. This is a great addition to our area and so nice that we can enjoy a dinner out together.

Pros: Dedicated vegan section on menu, Food is savory and delicious, Staff friendly and accommodating

Large selection of labeled vegan dishes

They have an extensive menu of vegan options. The green sauce that comes with the papadam that they bring to the table is not vegan so if you think of it, I recommend asking them as soon as you’re seated not to bring the green sauce when they bring the papadam to avoid that issue. The red topping that comes with it is vegan. This restaurant is related to the Latham location of Karavalli and has a similar menu. The atmosphere is nice and the folks there are friendly!

Pros: Lots of labeled vegan options , Knowledgeable about veganism

Best Indian food in the 518.

Entire vegan section on the menu, but by no means the extent of their vegan options. Plenty of gluten-free stuff, too. The staff is knowledgeable about ingredients. The portions are huge and the dishes go far beyond what other Indian places in the area have.

Pros: Separate vegan menu

Delicious!

The buffet was excellent and they have an entire section of the lunch buffet for vegan/vegetarian options. It was less than 15$ per person and we certainly got our fill! For authentic Indian food, 10 out of 10 recommend!

Pros: Price, Vegan options, Vegan dessert

Cons: Many non vegan options, Availability of non vegan options may fluctuate

New restaurant with great vegan food

They have tons of options, and they've all been delicious so far. I really like that the menu is clearly labeled with dedicated vegan sections. I'm also impressed at the number of vegan breads. Be aware most vegan options are spicy.

Pros: Good food, Lots of options
