One of my favourite restaurants - Edit
If you want the best vegan Indian food, come to the Spice Hut. They have a bunch of different options, the staff is super friendly and very willing to help. They also have vegan naan & all the vegan/vegetarian dishes are made in a separate kitchen. There is also a great atmosphere. This is restaurant is definitely in my top 10!

Amazing vegan curry - Edit
The vegan options are delicious and actually thought out instead of just the same old veg curry that’s lacking in much veg at all. Such as the black eyed bean curry which is delicious. The fact that they cook all vegan / veggie in a separate kitchen is reassuring and they go out of their way to cater for vegans as soon as they hear that you are. Their vegan naan is delicious too! And the only Indian restaurant we’ve ever been able to get one at.

Good restaurant - Edit
We went here because of the good reviews and weren't disappointed. The food was really tasty, including vegan naan that was not on the menu but was made for us on request.

Separate kitchen! Always visit here - Edit
This restaurant is amazing. The husband owner / chef is vegetarian and he has a completely separate kitchen from the meat one. The wife / server is so accommodating and will let you know exactly what they can do. They even made me a vegan naan with rice milk. I cannot recommend this place enough.

A True Gem - Edit
I found this restaurant via Happy Cow a few years ago and since that time I've been here whenever I visit my family in the area. I came to learn that it's difficult to find places that take allergen declarations seriously, so at some locations ordering a rice dish without allergens might get you a plate of rice with veggies and eggs in it. This is vastly different with the Spice Hut! The owners are ethical vegetarian themselves and will happily inform you about any ingredients of their dishes, so that you can make informed decisions about what you put in your own body. They take allergen declarations very seriously (the menus on their website are outdated, the menus on-site meticulously highlight any allergens), have separate kitchens for veg and non-veggie food, have deliberately removed ghee from some of their dishes to offer a wider selection for people who avoid dairy and if you tell them about your diet, they'll happily go out of their way to accommodate you as well. The food is delicious, the prices are fair (don't believe the review under this one*, the small bottles of water and of sodas cost 1,80 €, not 3 €), the owners are friendly and you can be sure that they show understanding for your dietary choices and will support you. I'd give five stars, if this page allowed me to.

Just keep in mind that the remaining reviews refer to the former incarnation of the restaurant at its old place in Torrevieja when they still were an all-veggie restaurant. The owners are the same, but the location obviously is different.

Great Food - Edit
A simply lovely restaurant that is also a shop, so you can eat and shop at the same time - heavenly!!! Harish and Pushba are the owners and they give the place a warm, welcoming, family feel to your dining experience. The food is all made from fresh ingredients and it is the best Indian cuisine I have ever tasted!! Even my meat eating friends prefer to go here over any other Indian restaurant.
