Flavorful Food

When I go out to eat, the flavor of the food is the most important thing so I am giving 4 stars. However, there were some things that weren't so enjoyable for me. First, the positives. I had samosas, rotti (specify vegan), and aloo Gobi. All were very good with flavorful seasoning.

Now, the negatives. The atmosphere is strange. In their defense, they are in a hotel that appears to be under renovation. They are located in an area that feels more like a wide hallway than a restaurant. My friend who was with me said that she thought the laundry room was on the other side of our wall because she felt a vent blowing on her.

Also, when we got our check, everything was priced slightly higher than it was on the menu. I asked our waiter about it, but he seemed confused and got the manager. I was told that there is an upcharge for credit cards....but we were paying cash. So, I was told that the upcharge would come off when we were rang out...only...yep, you guessed it. When we got our change, the amount reflected the upcharge. So, the waiter got the manager again, but ... Long story short, I figured my tip with the extra amount I was charged included and told them to add it to the tip once they figured it out.

Overall, I intend to go back, but I'm not exactly rushing. I'm giving them a little time to work their kinks out. Also, if paying cash, I would let them know before they bring the bill.
