Spicchiricchi

Sono stata qui circa un mese fa dopo aver trovato il posto su happycow. Il locale è piccolino e l'arredamento è quello tipico da gastronomia con qualche posto a sedere. Nonostante questo, io e mia madre siamo rimaste piacevolmente sorprese dalla freschezza dei piatti, preparati sul momento con ingredienti a km 0. Noi abbiamo scelto una zuppa di legumi e zucchine e un farro freddo con verdure saltate. Entrambi i piatti erano gustosi e anche mia madre ha apprezzato. Il proprietario e il figlio sono stati molto carini e premurosi e i prezzi sono decisamente a buon mercato date anche le porzioni abbondanti. Unico suggerimento? Magari rendere il locale un po' più luminoso e allestire un po' meglio i pochi posti a sedere, anche se mi rendo conto che il locale nasca principalmente come asporto. I was here 1 month ago approx and despite being really early we were welcomed by the owner and his son. We were offered a great variety of dishes and most of them were customizable to your own preference. We had a pea soup and some vegetable spelt and everything we were served was fresh and delicious. Our plates were filled to the top for a very fair price especially considering the restaurant is right in the city centre. This place does mainly take away, hence not many seats inside.

I've been here four times and can confirm that the food selections change daily. I am satisfied on my last visit: I tried an organic spelt soup with vegetables and freshly pressed vegetable juice. The service is friendly and very attentive, all of the food is vegetarian with some vegan options, particular attention is paid to the quality, freshness and seasonal vegetables.

Food is especially meant to be healthy and organic more than vegan, but it's vegan friendly; the choice was a bit poor if restricted to vegan food, not particularly creative too (I had a very simple bulgur salad) and the price were a bit too expensive; if you're hungry you gotta take several portions! There's a nice large room at the basement, personnel very friendly. Been there a couple of times in winter 2012/13. Overall plain fair.
