Good effort but gross food - Edit
I was excited to see there was a diner with a separate vegan menu. Unfortunately, I found the food virtually inedible. The gyro’s mock meat was soggy, gummy, and flavorless.

Would be 1 star because food was so bad but 1 extra star for the effort of having a separate vegan menu.

Surprising find - Edit
Thanks to Happy Cow for helping me find this spot! Full vegan breakfast and lunch menus alongside omnivore, in a run down Café with Fox News on in the background. Very friendly service, reasonable prices, diner food.

Decent but entrees are hit or miss - Edit
I ordered the meatless cheese steak and macaroni. The macaroni is pretty good and the fries were nice. I didn't like the cheese steak at all, the vegan meat was too greasy for me and the topping combination tasted bad. Everything else was alright.

Who knew that this bar would offer a full vegan menu? Thanks to the other reviewers on Happy Cow we did! Not the most amazing meal we ever had but definitely filled our bellies on our drive home from the beach. My husband's chicken parmesan was good and huge. My gyro was tasty. Both came with a huge side of fries. Again, nothing Earth shatteringly amazing, but we'd stop here again when traveling.

Delicious food and many vegan replacements (including meat, egg, and butter) and friendly staff, as long as you don’t mind the casual location. They also cater!

A Nice Surprise - Edit
Just stopped in for breakfast and was excited to see a separate vegan section on the menu with more than 1 or 2 options. We had the veggie omelet and the Just Egg and sausage. Both were very good.

This place is so good. And it’s always such a good feeling to find this type of food in this area. We rarely have this kind of stuff! Their omelettes are BOMB and so are the loaded fries. Eventually I will try everything on that menu.. Lol

I’m not going to lie, I probably would’ve never stepped foot in this place if it wasn’t for the fact that they have a vegan menu. What I love most about this place is that they serve vegan omelettes (we all know vegan breakfast food is hard to come by). The pizza omelette is by far my favorite, they even have vegan butter and they cook on a designated vegan grill. And they have vegan pancakes! I’ve also had their vegan chicken parm and I highly recommend it. The place does need a major upgrade though. Definitely a hole in the wall restaurant

Finally!! Must try!! - Edit
After spending a few days in Dover (eating Qdoba daily) I finally tried this place. I was so surprised! They have two vegan menus (breakfast and lunch). I went two days in a row and was so happy to get real vegan food! Everything was great. I tried quesadillas (appetizer but basically a meal, so good), steak sandwich (excellent), pancakes (pumpkin which was good but I would prefer plain) and Gyro (probably my favorite). They use a dedicated fryer and grill for the vegan food. Going back today for the veggie "omelette" and hash browns. The waitress told me that the owner went to a vegan conference and came back and made the new menus. Yay!

Legit vegan options in Dover De - Edit
Speedway Cafe recently started offering vegan options completely out of the blue one day. They have tried different items and have finally solidified a completely vegan menu, and now also offer vegan catering. Their options are legit. It's great to finally have a place in Dover De with a large selection of vegan options.
