Great (mostly) raw food, friendly service - Edit
This charming storefront serves organic, gluten-free, dairy-free, mostly raw food that is fresh and delicious.
Vegans should be warned that some dishes contain (local, responsibly-sourced) honey. The dishes we tried did not.
We had the Raw Pad Thai, which is made with daikon and zucchini "spiralized" noodles, cashews, red pepper slivers, and a delicious almond sauce with a spicy slow burn.
The cooked Vegan Lasagna with Rockin' Red Sauce was also very good. The noodles are organic brown rice, with a cashew cheese filling and tangy red tomato sauce. We warmed it up briefly in the provided microwave.
The Raw Cocoa Maca Mousse is light & sweet. It's mostly almonds, dates, raw cocoa, some maca, and a little maple syrup (if I remember correctly). It was a perfect finish for two people to share.
The server was sweet, kind, and knowledgeable about the food. She gave us glass plates to share our (prepacakaged) meals. The dining area is small and cheerful.
The only bad thing is that Spark of Life is hard to find. Look for the Napa Auto Parts. SOL is across the parking lot.
Pros: Excellent food, Great service, Charming decor
Cons: Hard to find (see review)
