Spa-Gos Beyond Expectation

Being someone who has slight penchant (total addiction) to well-stocked, reasonably priced breakfast buffets, Berlin proved to be my nemesis. Try as I might, I could not find a spread that was worthy of my time or of my money - place after place had sparse options and exorbitant prices. So, more in hope than expectation, I turned to this particular restaurant.
Just for clarity, I am fully aware that in relative terms this place - like most buffets - offers outstanding value when it is all-you-can-eat. Even so, this was still not in the realms of cheap for I’d usually pay, therefore I felt it owed me something special to receive half-decent praise.
On initial inspection, the augers were not good. Spotting only a smattering of options, I had almost resigned myself to eating an ungodly amount of fruit, beans and hummus. It was then I espied a little sign that changed everything - vegan breakfast selection. With an unlimited supply of puddings, cereals, various faux cold cuts, cheese, and even parfaits, my morning went from humdrum to heavenly in mere moments.
All of the above, especially the two pâtés made for an exceptional meal that was thoroughly enjoyable. Yet, as good as all this was, the best was yet to come by way of four simple words: Belgian nut nougat cream. Honestly, I could have consumed litres of the stuff, and it took every ounce of self-control I could muster not to stick my mouth directly under the pump and go to town.
Yes, it was pricier than what I thought I might/should have to fork out, but in the end, worth every single penny.
