Great Vegan Sushi & Veg Curry - Edit

We really enjoy eating at Soyumi for both dine-in and take-out. The staff are vegan friendly and knowledgeable. They have a separate vegetable sushi menu with great options including tofu skin and tempura asparagus and sweet potato rolls. They also have an incredible tofu and vegetable curry that comes served over rice with a generous portion of tofu and fresh vegetables. Other great vegan options include edamame and seaweed salad (request to be made vegan).

Slow service, few vegan options - Edit

Went on a Friday night with family. The restaurant was nowhere near busy, but the service was super slow.
The wonton chips served pre-meal were yummy.
I ordered the tofu avocado roll, spring rolls, seaweed salad, and asparagus roll.
The spring rolls were so good, especially the dumpling dipping sauce that came with it!
The seaweed salad was awesome and a big portion. Next time I'd order tofu to be added.
The asparagus roll came with FRIED asparagus even though this was not clarified on the menu. When I sent it back, the waiter was very kind and understanding and gave me no issues. The new roll with steamed asparagus was delicious.
The tofu and avocado roll was very rich and creamy but ultimately not my preference, even with soy sauce. It was avocado and thin slices of fried tofu rolled up in the sushi rice. Interesting and worth trying if that sounds good to you.

I thought it was really cool that they had shirataki noodles available. I would've loved to see more vegan options, maybe a vegan ramen dish?
