Great Vegan Options

Vegan-friendly restaurant situated in a garden so both the food and ambiance were quite a special experience.

Their dinner menu offered a variety of options from sandwiches to burritos to pastas. Note: we were wanting to try their vegan pizzas but we didn’t see any on the menu this time around.

I ordered their all vegan Alfredo pasta with mushrooms and it was fantastic. Not too creamy or salty, and they make their own in house vegan cheeses.

I also tried their ceviche made vegan by swapping seafood for mushrooms. This was okay and I would pass on it next time.

Overall, great spot with something for everyone to enjoy. Don’t miss out on any of their home made cheeses and check out their gift shop selling local art on the way out.

Very tasty Asian salad

They have a few options available on the menu and a couple of things that you could make vegan, including some salads, bowls, a ramen, a couple of entres and granola for breakfast. They also have a little shop attached selling vegan items.

Pretty good food

We enjoyed the dishes we ordered here, mostly the vegan ceviche! Note that they go really heavy on mushrooms, so be aware of that. Also ordered the Caesar salad which was super delicious with a creamy dressing. They also have a store attached that sells some vegan products like a Parmesan cheese (def get that) and produce, etc.

Fantastic place! The vegan ceviche was amazing. The best I’ve ever had.

This is a quaint spot in a lush setting. The vegan ceviche with coconut and lime was AMAZING. the pesto pasta & tomato pasta was also delicious. I would say the Pesto was the winner but both delicious. We asked to meet the chef but we were introduced to the cocinero or cook Arnoldo. He should be promoted to Chef. What a great meal!!

Pros: Best mushroom veggie ceviche ever!, Pesto pasta was delicious. , Beautiful lush trees and flowers.

Cons: None

amazing shop!

Kombucha and Kefir are amazing! It was such a refreshment after our long travels and no vegan food and probiotics!
Its just a shop. They are opening small café in April. ❤️

Pros: good organic options

Cons: pricey

Store only, no restaurant

When I visited (March 2018) there was only a store, no restaurant. There was some fresh produce, fancy chocolate bars, drinks like kombucha, water kefir, jamaica and nut milks, as well as a few snack items like granola, nuts and crackers/cookies. I had been hoping to get breakfast there, but ended up having kombucha, kefir, bananas and a chocolate bar. It was a good enough breakfast but not what I was expecting.

Pros: kombucha , cashew milk, nice chocolate

Cons: expensive , no menu for ordering food, not much variety

Oasis in a small town with little veg options

First of all, the woman working in Soya is really nice and helpful.

I was so happy to find a milk-alternative in El Tunco, since the next supermarket with soy-milk in stock is in La Libertad, 15 min away by car. They do their own cashew-nut-milk (with honey, but I'm sure that she would leave the honey out if wanted), coconut-milk and soy-milk.

They also sell gluten-free granola and brownies, peanut butter and cashew-nut-butter.

It's mainly a juice bar with, unfortunately, only 2 food options and 2 salad options (one with chicken). But the vegan ceviche is really yummy, specially at lunchtime with 28 ºC outside.

Pros: all the different milk alternatives , vegan ceviche, friendly staff

Cons: so little food options and one of them with chicke, plastic cup for the juice
