OK’ish Asian fare - Edit
Staff were friendly enough, but the actual food was just OK. Had the Pad Thai and asked for the veggie option. There were no extra veggies, so it was basically noodles, onions and a few pieces of carrot.

So many options! - Edit
Even more than a typical noodle place, they had lots of vegetarian as well as vegan sushi rolls and dishes with tofu as an option. Nothing was called out as vegan so double-checking that there’s no egg, etc. would be smart.

Take my word and pass on it. - Edit
Pass on this place espl if Bees Knees is open, it’s pretty awful. The gal at the bar was pretty awesome but you could tell she felt bad about recommending any food items even said the new chefs prob couldn’t whip up a decent miso soup cause ppl have been complaint about it. Seriously how do you screw up miso soup? She said they’re only allowed to give napkins if ppl asked - poor gal was so apologetic and embarrassed. Many of the food items you can tell came straight out of the can. Jalapeños on sushi and the pineapple in bowl - we hardly ate a bite of either it was that unappetizing.
Read morePros: It was open during the holiday weekend , Deep fried items had a good crunch , Has TVs and beer on tap

Beyond awful - Edit
Our server, a younger girl with long blue hair, literally followed us out of the restaurant to scream at us for not leaving her enough of a tip. She couldn't answer our questions about the menu, had no idea about any allergens, and didn't check in on us while we were eating so we left a low tip.. not to mention this place literally has no condiments other than soy sauce so good luck with seasoning your food. For folks with celiac there is nothing to eat because there are no GF condiments or sauces at all. I was so excited to go here because they had a vegetarian menu but if you have any kind of allergens you can’t eat anything on the menu. After calling to let the person in charge know today, turns out it was actually the manager who decided to yell at us on the street (LOL) and she is just totally bananas. Please save your money and time for a place that doesn't harass their customers.

Delicious and High Quality - Edit
The selection is great and the food was authentic and high quality. I had the sushi and Thai tea and it was delicious! I tried the noodles as well and they rocked. A great little spot if you like Asian cuisine.

Terrible - Edit
Went with 2 friends that aren't vegan, and my husband and I are vegan. All of our food was gross. The waitress had no idea what vegan was and kept trying to suggest egg options. I had to remind her several times I was allergic to peanuts and they put peanuts in my food.

I’m from the area and have been to this place often. Food is tasty. As mentioned by others, vegan/vegetarian options but the service is a toss up. Have walked out several times over the years due to being ignored by staff. On a good day, you will enjoy the food.

Knowledgeable Staff - Edit
This place has always been great for a vegan meal. The staff is very knowledgeable about what is vegan (I know at least one of the workers there is vegan!) and helping you order. For example, the veggie dumplings are vegan but the dipping sauce that comes with them has fish sauce so they will be more than willing to bring you soy sauce instead. Everyone is very nice so don't be afraid to ask questions!

Poor staff attitude. Not a good experience - Edit
I can't rate the food- didn't get a chance to eat here since we were greeted by hostesses with a crappy attitude. Empty tables but given a 30-45 minute wait because they were "short staff". We asked to at least sit and we'd wait to be served. We were given a look and an attitude and told to go sit. No apology or escort to the table. We're in town for the Ironman race and didn't need the negative attitude so we chose to leave. Instead we enjoyed a fantastic lunch at the Southern Salad from smiling staff that was eager to serve us.

Hit or Miss, mostly miss - Edit
Food is hit or miss. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it makes me wish I had stayed home. The service is terrible. The last two times I've gone I was either ignored or ended up leaving. The greeter sat us, and nobody knew who was serving us but then a couple that came in about 15 minutes after we did got their drinks and order in before we were even greeted by the wait staff. The last time was the final straw. We were seated way in the back near the rest room and no one ever came to check on us for our drinks. After waiting about 20 minutes, I gave up and left. Will not be returning. The food isn't that good to put up with the terrible service.

Pleasant experience - Edit
We had eaten at the Soy Noodle House last year with success and gave it another try. This year was even better than last. Still many vegan options. We had the spicy edamame appetizer again which was very good. This year we ordered some of their vegan sushi and was very surprised how good it was. We ate at one of their sidewalk tables and had a great time. The server was very knowledgeable about vegan options and service was attentive. It is funky and very casual.

I just have to remember to tell my server that I'm vegan, and they are very helpful. Love that they have just expanded.

Hit or miss - Edit
I've been to Soy Noodle House twice.
Read moreThe first time I had the fried tofu appetizer, which comes with a small salad. It was a perfect, light summer-time lunch.
The second time I ordered a tofu-noodle entree. It was okay. The vegetables weren't as varied or as appealing as I'd prefer and the tofu wasn't properly marinated or cooked and got mushy in the sauce very quickly. Two of the people I was with disliked their entrees so much they didn't even finish them. One of them was sick the next day.
Also, it's worth mentioning that when 2 of us at the table ordered vegan spring rolls, they were brought out to us with shrimp and chicken in them. Really gross.
The inside of the restaurant is adorable and the service isn't awful (although it certainly isn't the best or most-friendly either).
I'll probably go back again, but mostly just because Augusta lacks other choices.
Pros: numerous vegan options, cute atmosphere, moderately priced
Cons: hit or miss service, hit or miss food quality
