Vegan coffee shop and smoothie bar in a train caboose located in the Blossom Valley neighborhood since June 2015. Serves a variety of coffee drinks, tea, smoothies and food. Order at the window for either take-out or sit in the garden. In Sept 2015, started offering breakfast and lunch. All food is pre-packaged and changes daily. Items include blueberry oatmeal squares and chia seed pudding for breakfast. Lunch salads include shirazi, kale and three bean and wraps include spicy Thai peanut, Mediterranean, and black bean tempeh. Uses local, organic, fair trade products when possible. Dog friendly. OCT 2016 REPORTED SHUT. Open Mon-Sun 7:00am-3:00pm.

Good Vegan Smoothies - Edit
I have stopped at Soy Leaf twice for smoothies and enjoyed them each time. The smoothies were tasty and everything is vegan so the full menu was available to me. I really like the building, front deck and large garden area with a bathroom, so I can hang out as long as I want.

Last stop before vegan desert!! - Edit
Last month, on a road trip from San Diego to Santa Fe, NM, my wife and I knew we'd be passing through both a literal and a vegan desert, at least until we reached Tucson. So we were thrilled to find Soy Leaf and pick up a to-go order for a picnic lunch along the way. One word best described the delicious wraps: FRESH! Kudos to Melanie, the owner, for creating such a delightful and colorful eatery in the far reaches of East County. The outdoor space behind the caboose would be a great venue for a family and friends party!

Fresh vegan drinks and salads!!!!! - Edit
Finally there is this a vegan place in east county!!!!! Please stop by this precious coffee shop who really cares about the environment and it's customers. If your driving on your way on the 8 east to hike, road trip, work or home, make sure to stop by for great coffee, smoothies or salads!!! It's fresh, healthful, delicious and cruelty free! My daughter, Lola our dog and I go once a week and we love Soy Leaf!

I finally found a place where I can enjoy a healthy drink and relax.I can park my bicycle in the bicycle rack, order a super healthy smoothie, and enjoy it by the water fountain in the beautiful garden area. Because it is child and dog friendly I will be back with the kids and dogs.
