Sadly not as good as it used to be - Edit
This used to be one of my favourite places to visit in Southsea, with non-vegan friends and family as well. But sadly it is not as good as it used to be. Ordered the New Forest mushrooms with a side of spinach. Food arrived cold, slice of bread was thinner than my little finger and toppings were very sparse. The menu described balsamic reduction, which was just a thin balsamic sauce which seemed very similar to a store-bought one. £13 for a very small portion which did not taste great.
Read moreI did talk to the staff about this who were very friendly and I could not fault them, and they offered to replace my meal. However I did not fancy a full vegan breakfast, and when my family member asked what about the avocado dish, I enquired as the menu did not state "available as vegan option" and was told this was correct. I cannot vouch for the lunch menu which may be great, but sadly I will be going elsewhere in Southsea for breakfast.
Pros: Helpful staff
Cons: Now many reduced vegan options, Expensive for portion size and quality

Truly dog friendly, good vegan options - Edit
Stunning setting on the beach. Dogs are welcome in restaurant not just bar area.
Read moreWe arrived 5 mins before kitchen was closing and a bank holiday so a few of the vegan options were sold out. But we still had a lovely meal. I opted for the blood orange and vegan feta salad which was delicious. My partner had the vegan mushroom tacos with a side of fries. Everything was lovely.
Then we walked to nature reserve dog friendly section of the beach and had a wonderful day in Southsea.
Pros: Sea views sitting in beach, Truly dog friendly

My favourite place in Southsea - Edit
This place is just stunning. It's my favourite place to come to in Southsea. The setting just makes it...set right on the beach, you can sit inside or outside and look out across the Solent and watch the boats go by as you tuck into the best food. Gorgeous vegan options, I particularly love their Buddha bowl with vegan feta cheese. And the cocktails are amazing too!
