Self-described as "freshly made comfort food" with choices ranging from sandwiches, soups, salads, breakfast, veggie burgers. Makes fresh-baked breads (contains eggs, even the sourdough ones). Vegan choices are limited but this cafe is one of the more veggie-friendly places in this region.

Best option in the area - Edit
This restaurant offers veg options and other meat options, the food was delicious and I was happy my vegan and vegetarian daughters had more to choose from than french fries or a salad of lettuce and tomato. The town of Julian is limited in it's food choices for vegans, and this restaurant was a pleasant surprise.
Pros: Delicious soups and fruit, food choices to please everyone, clean artsy atmosphere
Cons: no vegan bread options
